It's too bad thies place closed down, but they had the best ribs and rib tips in town. They also had some awesome specials too. This place wasn't fancy. It was a place to chow down. I really wish it didn't close because this was such a treat for me and I still haven't found a rib place that's this good and this cheap.
Wow, this really makes me question the taste of people who write reviews on yelp. Any place that calls themselves a bbq house and deep fry's thier chicken is a complete waste of my time. The plain fried chicken isn't bad, but then they dip it in whatever sauce you want and call it bbq. Their sauce tastes like the cheap kind you get from Sysco food sevices and their hot and spicy cajun bbq sauce is just Red Hot, like you get on cheap hot wings. The pizza wasn't horrible, thin crust was greasy and well spread cheese. Got an order of tiramisu and it was super small, frozen and wrapped in plastic. When I thawed it out it was watery and nasty.
All in all...probably never eat there again.
Hands down best Ribs I've ever had in my life. After I eat here I want my stomach pumped so I can have more!
I probably shouldn't be reviewing this place and keep it a secret! But I'm a nice guy and I'll share my feelings. If you go here, Order a slab and Enjoy!
LOVE CHICAGO RIB HOUSE FOR LIFE!

They do it better in the South. Honestly, it was ok, but Carson's has better sauce and the ribs were not as tender as they could be.
But seriously, no one does good ribs up here BECAUSE WE ARE NOT IN TEXAS, GEORGIA, TENNESEE, ETC.
Oh God, and don't get me started on the correct method of preparing pulled pork. My mammy would put this place to SHAME with her pulled pork! She can pull off Carolina style AND sweet Texas style to perfection. MmmmmMMmmMmmm...

It is all about the BBQ sauce! Chicago rib house is delicious. They only have pork ribs, so if you don't like pork you are out of luck but they are so good! I am pretty picky with ribs because if they are too fatty I won't eat them but these are perfect. The BBQ chicken is awesome too and they even have an option to pay a bit extra and get all white meat. Mmm, white meat.
The pulled Pork, chicken and beef sandwiches def. beat the Webber grill's into the ground! They rock.
The only problem with this restaurant is the girl who works the phones and at the desk has a bit of a attitude problem, they have short delivery hours and they are always out of BBQ sauce to order.
The dining area is really small so sometimes it can take a while to be seated. I would suggest getting pick up if at all possible! They have "couch potato specials" for pick up only where you can get buckets of whatever meat you want accompanied by 6 dinner rolls or flat bread at an unbeatable price.

No, I am not from the south, and I am sure that in the south the ribs are better than here- but for some good BBQ at a great price in the Midwest- this is the place to be. Especially if you work in the River North area and need good food late at night. We go for the Couch Potato kits as it is an unbelievably great deal for around $25.00 you get tons of food- enough to feed a hungry overworked office. I prefer their BBQ chicken over the ribs, but anything they put BBQ sauce on is pretty good here.

Chicago Rib House is a great place to go. Everything they have on the menu is delicious. The BBQ sauce they have there is amazing. The only downside is that they say you can buy there BBQ sauce, but they never have it to buy when you ask.
SUPER IMPORTANT UPDATE: Chicago Rib House is closed, and now some bar is there instead. I'll miss Chicago Rib House, but apparently the rumors of the owner now knowing how to run a business were true.

This place broke my heart! (It looks so cool) I tried their pulled pork sandwich today and it was simply horrible. I guess the place is called Rib House so I will have to try the ribs. That is why I am giving it two stars instead of one.
Their pulled pork sandwich is HUGE and delicious! they also have awesome daquaris and margaritas which are a great compliment to any meal!
