The building is the epitome of 1980s-corporate architectural banality, but CME, you are so money. Thanks for making me some serious bank. Too bad trading was considered the ugly stepsister to consulting and investment banking when I was in school.

The "Merc" consists of two towers flanking the lower central portion which contains the trading floor. It is located along the Chicago River, so traders can relax at the waterside restaurant after a hectic day on the floor.
