Chesapeake Jubilee is the city's birthday festival. It happens annually for a weekend in the May. It is my favorite place to attend for the best funnel cakes, the tiny awesome rides, the amazing fireworks (I could see the fireworks from the front porch at my home!), the place to play with the friends and the family, the grilled foods, and the boozes.
The only downhill is the prices. The tickets for the rides are always way too much, but the event is only a weekend once a year, I am not going to complain and have fun. The funnel cakes and the cotton candy are the champ at this mini carnival.
