This is one of the best places to stargaze on the whole east coast. The real deal is its surrounded to mountains and forests on all sides and the lack of towns in any direction really prevents the skies from becoming "light-polluted" not bad at all, i think it costs about 8 dollars to register and reserve some space and camp.

stats: 48 acres, surrounded by the 262,000 acre susquehannock state forest. has mountain biking, camping, hiking and an annual woodsman's show.
