Best Pizza in Long Island hands down!! Their spinach specialty pizza is amazing. You must try it! Great customer service.

The food and pizza are both great. The best thing about this place is the dinner deals they have during the week like 2 entrees and a family style salad for 20 bucks. The food is excellent and the prices are more than reasonable. If you stop in for a slice try the spinach. This has everything that your neighborhood Italian joint needs.

I agree with Sean. I don't even know if I've had their plain because I love the specialty slices. Been a while since I last did, but they are fantastic.
The spinach, broccoli and cheddar and stuffed are all fantastic. -

This has been our family pizza place for years. We get pizza every Friday night and sometimes it's great, other times it's good, but it's always good enough that we go back to it every week. We've tried other places but always go back to Chef's. We love their sausage roll and chicken roll. We've had partied catered by them and the food was very good.
I would definitely recommend giving them a try - pizza is something that really depends on personal taste. I've unfortunately moved out of NY and you can't get good pizza anywhere else - I can't wait to visit my parents and get some Chef's pizza! -

Really good broccoli cheddar slices

Everything I have had a Chef's has been delicious: slices, pizzetas, pasta dinners, subs and more!
All the food is moderately priced and call-in orders are ready in 10 minutes. The exact time it takes to leave home and pick it up!
It gets busy on Friday nights, but even then the wait is never too long. -

Chef's - the home of the speciality slice.
Since the early 90s I have loved their broccoli and cheddar (as an over the top bonus they put poppi and sesame seeds on the crust), spinach and white pizza slices.
And the slices are still decently priced. Great place to hit up for lunch or when you are dying for a specialty slice. -

Ordered a pie for the first time. Took it home and it was awsome. This place came highly recommended to me. Glad I tried it. I liked the thin no doughy slice, great cheese and sauce! I actually had 3 slices! Cant wait to have left overs tomorrow!

I'll edit and upgrade this after I've tried them at a different hour - but rather late at night the slices were not the freshest. Not their fault, however, as I showed up maybe half an hour before closing. However even at this time they were decent slices. I tried the regular and the white.
The very young staff was polite and attentive despite their youth, not always the case here on LI, which impressed me. Additionally, while I did see one staff member sweeping the floor, he was doing it the only right way - if you must sweep around food at all - very, very slowly and gently so as not to raise dust. This gave me confidence that someone at this place has a brain and cares about the cleanliness of the food.
I believe they have several vegetarian (but not vegan) pizza offerings including "healthy" pizza on whole wheat bread with veggies and no cheese. However there is some cheese involved, I can't recall whether it is in the sauce or the crust.
They also do offer regular Italian restaurant fare, having a dining room beyond the entrance / pizza counter. I did see some pasta that looked very good. I'm guessing it's very nice and if I had to go somewhere in Northport or East Northport for decent Italian food I would not hesitate to try Chef's of New York. -

I was in the area recently and saw they'll make a whole wheat pie here for people who may be looking for that kind of thing. . . Just sayin'.

So far best crust I've ever had under a pizza IMO. their white, broccoli/chedder also stands out of the typical.

I figured that if I am writing such good reviews of other pizza places, I would find one that I know that I really do not like. Chefs is one example. I wouldnt neccesary say that chefs is that bad, its just that there are other places in and around that are so much better.
the pasta dishes are expensive and the pizza is usually very thin and oily.
I dont know about many people but I like my pizza thicker without the cheese oozing off when you pick it up.
Chefs is worth it if you cant find anywhere else to go; Or you can go to the next shopping center down to Gabby's and get a much better slice.
