I felt SO suburban going to Cheesecake factory but our dinner dates insisted. I hate chains but we actually had a pretty pleasant experience.
I'm not sure if reservations were made ahead of time but all I know is that at 7PM sharp we were all seated (6 people).
The service was great - shocking I know. There were six of us but somehow the ordering process was seamless...everything was brought out correctly. The wait staff knew the menu inside out and was always friendly.
The food also came out perfectly timed and when it came time for the bill the waitress split the check into three bills - one for each couple. She was very nice about it. The food my man and I had was delicious - can't complain at all.
Basically I think this Cheesecake factory must have really good management because everything went smoothly and the staff was on top of it.
I looked into the jewelry case-like display of cheesecakes and there he was -- my old friend was back!! Pineapple upside-down cheesecake. It had been so long, and now you have reutrned. We haven't made contact in years and here you were, of all places, in Virginia Beach. It was like old times. You are so deliciouly evil. I know that we should not be together but I can't help myself. I'm so weak. So here we go again: we both get what we want and I am left with... regret. Til next time.
Great Cheescake, horrible food. You would think that the Cheescake factory would have better food. I tried it twice to give it the benefit of the doubt. But it disappointed me both times. And it is overpriced. Just get a great piece of cheesecake which is what they are known for and call it a night.
this place get a 2stars for me. its OK i mean its big inside but the tables are to close form each other. i mean it is called fine dinning right so y would u put the tables close together to the point where u can touch the next tables plate. food here is good kinda $$$ but OK. yea i would go back. just don't put me on a table, i like the booth................
It's big. It's chain-y. It's loud. But, the food and the service are pretty decent. Too bad the portions are so big no one has room for cheesecake! Get some to go or come for dessert only. Not bad, though.
The atmosphere was nice. It was loud but nice and big with great high ceilings. However, the food wasn't that great and the waiter was distracted and edgy. I probably won't go back.
