This was definitely a fun way to spend a Saturday night if you want to shred the gnar!!! I went to Checkered Flag with a group of 18 friends and the staff were very accomodating and easily handled our large group. The go-kart racing itself was fun and hillarious at the same time. Picture a group of mid twenty-something professionals flying around a racetrack in little go-karts, wearing obscenely large helmets (safety first!), and fighting over who will get the #11 car (it was the fastest). This was a nice break from the typical Saturday night bar scene and it's only 30 minutes north of Boston.
One small complaint is that the go-karts were battery operated and it seemed as if some karts were more charged than others and therefore faster. Everyone wants their go-kart to be as fast as possible right? I'm sure this is an issue that the folks at Checkered Flag can address for future guests. A good time and recommended!
