While wandering around The Green on S Tryon I stumbed across a little library, called "Check it Out". I was actually surprised that I can't find anything about it on-line, maybe it is new? Anyway, this is definitely a great little spot to check out (no pun intended) if you are in the area.
Although small, this place has a great selection of books for you to browse through, as well as DVD's, and has several other reading material for you to pick up, such as their own small publication and other random local features. You can register to vote here if you are new to the area, and it is just a great place in general to gain knowledge of Charlotte. Their prices are reasonable, and they were running some specials for $2 DVD rentals - check them out!
