One of my favorite places on Mass Ave.  While a relative newcomer, the Chatham Tap has really begin to hit it's stride by providing excellent food and stellar service.  

No matter if it is Andrew, Danny, Mary Kate, Megan or many of the other extraordinary servers, you will feel very appreciated here.

Loudest bar? Not quite -- at least, not on this Wednesday evening. Granted it was early (10 p.m.-ish), full of packed tables and sports-filled screens so it could have been LOUD -- instead, it was low-key, nice and laid back.

Service was fast and attentive, the spicy steak salad tasty -- a mild and pleasing mix from the organic mixed leaf lettuce, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo and sour cream ranch, then just enough heat from the spicy 4 oz. ribeye strips --  just enough to get the point across without setting your tongue ablaze.

Would get a five but for one down side: the texture of the steak. Steel teeth shouldn't be required in order to gnaw through every other bite.

It'll get a second chance -- I just won't order steak!

their wings 12 for $9 (the regular Signature Sauce is AWESOME!!!
& their chicken ranch pizza, GRILLED CHICKEN, Roma Tomato, Basil, & Rasher Bacon (no red sauce) is
TO DIE FOR
the wait staff is Fun, Andrew always nice & attentive (How HIGH will that Hair GO)???  Danny non-stop Fun (you did NOT see me There)LOL ---- Jenni the bartender, always nice & make some serious Drinks!!! & Megan P, (our first visit but not last ) waitress  always makes us feel comfortable
it's one of the loudest bar i've ever been in, but i don't get out that much, a few Huge Flags would absorb some noise but a great little Sports Bar with Jukebox too, none the less,
we go for the food
smoking after 11pm or outside patio
the portabella mushrooms (Yum-O) (esp the chipotle garlic-ranch sauce)
the Spicy Steak Salad is FAB, but ALL their salads are, my daughter said the Spinach Avocado & Feta Salad was the best she'd EVER had!!
the Soups are Always Tasty
the Fish & Chips, YUMMY

Cool laid back atmosphere, nice draft selection. A little inconsistent on the mixed drinks though.

Ordered a Ketel 1 and cranberry, it was ok. Just your average drink. Ordered another, got a full glass of ketel 1 with a splash of cran, it  was OK .  I prefer consistency over being under served or given alcohol poisoning any day.

I will be back, I am sure the newness kinks will be worked out soon!
