Our group was very excited for our stay here during Sundance. Having never visited, we have continually been impressed and wonderfully serviced by the staff in this beautiful establishment. Upon check in, Steve brought our bags to our rooms and showed us the amenities. Turns out that he has been our driver several times as well. He is very helpful and friendly. Definitely our favorite. We have also had Andy as our driver and he's a blast. Fun and personable. Our room is beautiful, as is the entire facility. I love the access to the gym and other amenities. Our views are spectacular and without a doubt, I will revisit this wonderful establishment.

Great staff service is the best part of the Chateaux, which is perched in Deer Valley just adjacent to Park City.
At first glance, the buildings and grounds give me the impression of a timeshare, which is not far from reality as some of the property is owner-occupied and the rest is reserved for hotel guests.
Upon check-in I informed the front-desk person that I was still missing my suitcase and hoped to see it sometime later that day. They were very helpful to ask if I would like to put a time-restraint on when the bag could be delivered to my room since sometimes lost bags found their way to the hotel as late as 2 AM. They also offered basic sundries for me in case I needed them.
I felt immediately at home when I walked into the hotel room. Though I don't normally warm up to traditional decor, I was torn between sinking myself into the deep chaise and tucking myself into rustic four poster bed with the plump white bedding.
There was a fire place in the corner that I immediately flipped on each time I entered the room. Too bad I spent so much time in the conference rooms on this property to enjoy curling up to a fire with fabulous book to keep me company.
For a small conference, just over 100, it's not a bad place to retreat. The meeting rooms are nearly as well appointed as the guest rooms. The common areas are always kept clean and our tables were tidied up during breaks.
Banquet service appears to be seamless and the catered meals were always well-prepared and delicious.
After a long first day, I was happy to see suitcase arrived in my room while I was at dinner.
Staff is so polite all times. Service is simply impeccable. -

Since when is it ok for staff at an expensive resort to express their homophobia loudly across the hotel lobby? Unprofessional and un-classy. Do yourself a favor if you plan on throwing about a bunch of cash in Deer Valley and visit the St Regis instead.

Stayed here Wednesday to Saturday. The property is impressive and is ideal if you're looking for a place to do a little R&R. I think all of the rooms have jacuzzi tubs and are well-appointed. Fireplaces in the rooms and it's really convenient property to navigate. There's a spa, decent gym and heated pool onsite. The staff is excellent, especially the front desk. They were incredibly responsive and went the extra mile.
My only "minor" complaints are (1) limited outlets -weird, but it's 2009 and we all have gadgets that need charging, (2) The TV/entertainment system was antiquated and didn't match up with the rest of the property (3) no room service and (3) it was actually inconvenient to get water - no gift shop, none at the front desk; you had to go to the vending machine.
Great hotel for leisure, questionable for business.
