Growing up using the barbershops on base, then being in the military as an adult using the barbershops on base, followed by using the Barbershop at the Pentagon, I have very basic needs.
Charlie's Barbershop meets all of them. Service is always prompt, the staff is always friendly, and they always know that I just want a simple haircut. I cannot recommend it enough if you're a guy who just wants a simple, conservative haircut. -

I haven't let anyone touch my hair since 2003. Back then I would allow my ex take me to the salon for an $80 haircut. Since then, I cut my own hair because I am very particular about the length, the way it is styled, and I hate fades.
I was in town for a wedding and needed a haircut fast. Because of time restrictions, I was unable to cut it myself since it takes me around 2.5 hours to give myself a trim. Charlie was recommended to me by a friend of a friend I met the night before.
Upon walking in, I told Charlie I was not accustomed to having my haircut done by other people. He asked me what I wanted and I was very specific graphing my skull into 4 equal sections.
He replied with "Not a problem" and not more than 30 minutes later, I had a fresh looking haircut. Not only that, the back of my head had not looked that good in years. Message me if you want a pic of the back of my head because I am forever now going to use it as reference when I look for another barber to cut my hair -

i didn't get my hair cut by charlie. but what i did get was one of the worst haircuts ever. i'd give it 0 stars if i could. i'm not sure why people who have never cut hair before, or had training think that they can work at a barber shop. the guy did try hard but the harder he tried, the worse it got. don't waste your money because you'll have to pay for another haircut to fix the mess.
