Charleston Waterfront Park
- Good for Kids:
- Yes
4 reviews for Charleston Waterfront Park
The park is definitely beautiful! Like everyone else, I loved the fountains, the bench swings and the park being next to the water!
Check out the pier and if you are brave enough, play in the water with the other kids! It definitely reminded me of the kids playing around the olympic water rings at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, GA.
The only thing I can recommend is having some street performers!

A perfect place to relax and take in Charleston's the center of historic downtown. This 12 acre park runs along the Charleston Harbor. Don't miss splashing about in the two major fountains!
The park is located on Concord street (in the center of downtown)

We just did a brief stroll through here, but it seemed like a really relaxing and chill place to rest and enjoy the weather. Calm ocean breeze, swinging benches, and water fountains...even one shaped like a pineapple!
I wanted to move to Charleston after visiting this park! They have the most amazing swings (that can hold up to four people) where you can relax and catch the breeze while carrying on a conversation. Talk about romantic! I didn't get a chance to splash around in the fountains, but we did walk up and down the pier and waterfront in addition to hanging out on the swings. As soon as I upload some photos, I'll post one of the giant swings they have there. You definitely have to go to Waterfront Park if you're in Charleston.
