Chan's Garden Restaurant

Talk about a place with history, inside hasn't changed in over 30 years.. and the best part is the food is just as good as it always has been.. had the chicken and broccoli and two eggs rolls which were excellent.. fresh veggies and cooked perfectly.. will be back!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I got the garlic chicken, shrimp fried rice, with "crab cheese" The food had no flavor and my chicken was just boiled with a bunch of veggies. And their "crab cheese" is just cream cheese. They should be ashamed to even serve this to people.
I did finish the fried rice just because I was so hungry and it was okay with soy sauce but I shouldn't have to add soy sauce just to have any flavor at all.

Food service was fast but the food quality was NOT good, got sesame chicken and orange chicken, both of which had little of the actual flavors. Food also seemed slimy.
Only thing I liked was my Rangoon's and the plain white rice in the meal.

Until last night I hadn't been to Chan's Garden before, even though I'm local. Oh my word. It's my new favorite restaurant! Delicious, fresh food. Very friendly, efficient service. Cute place. Nice beer selection. (Don't confuse this place with China Garden! They're worlds apart!) If I could give Chan's Garden 10 stars I would! (And I didn't even mention the almond cookies!)

Used to be a fav place, no more. Older owner female rude; threw condiments on counter after asked. Missing s&s sauce w/ order. -won't be back. No way to survive in this economy, you lose.

Went here the other day for dinner and got the Szechuan chicken while feeling something spicy and wholesome. I ordered over the phone with an extremely quick time to have my food ready. It was ready within 15 minutes and was still very warm when getting home. When home was when I was sadly greeted with less than mediocre Chinese food. Having about a 10:1 for vegetables to chicken. The pieces of chicken where small but good. The vegetables where cooked and thoroughly covered in sauce. The sauce was cheap and not spicy, more sweet if anything. The rice was very good, but was basically normal white rice, and crab ragoons are just cream cheese balls.

spring rolls were awesome but the princess shrimp order only had 3 tiny shrimp. rest was liquid veggies. not happy

This place is so close to me i had to try it! They're so nice and the restaurant is good looking, I'll eat in next time. I ordered Chan's Rice Noodle and appetizer sampler, both were filling and soooo good! Definitely be back for more! Thank you :)

Just finished lunch at Chan's Garden on North Center Road in Saginaw. I had the lunch special, broccoli chicken with an egg role. It was really good!
The service was fast and efficient.
A small, but comfortable place with lots of parking.
Looking forward to coming back for dinner.

They deliver in my opinion in 2019 that makes a difference. I'm not interested in using a 3rd party service for my delivery sorry. This place is great the unique people that run and work here make it a pleasure to frequent. Also they will make every effort to make any dish you desire, their take on it of course.
