Review from Liz V.

Here's an update. Since my first ride in April, I've been on 3 more and going on another one next week! Each ride is AMAZING!!! The beauty of the Channel Islands. I've seen blue whales and grey whales, the islands from different angles. The new owner, Josh, is fun and informative! Give yourself and others a gift of a lifetime and head up into the sky!

Wow, that was a blast! There is absolutely nothing in the world like...leaving it...in a helicopter. I wasn't totally sure what to expect but our pilot, Dan, made the experience for us. We took a tour of the town and beach area then out to a couple of the Channel Islands. The scenery was unbelievable. I swear there must have been 300 dolphins in the pod we saw. They were all just cruising along, dozens jumping at a time. Did I say "uhhh-mazing" already?
Anyway, this trip was such an incredible investment. We made memories that will last forever. Dan is an extremely competent pilot and explained everything he was doing from the moment we arrived until the time we said "see you next time!" Can't say enough good things about this operation...so I'll stop.
Thanks! -

Professional service & great people... this helicopter ride provides the best view of the islands, whales/dolphins in the channel, & the surrounding coast I call home... would recommend it to anyone! Dan is both entertaining & an excellent pilot... we are repeat customers & will definitely be back yet again...

My dad and I took my mom out for a Mother' Day helicoptor tour of two of the Channel Islands. It was a great experience.
Daniel (the pilot) was professional and very informative about the islands and our journey. He was interactive with our group and really made us feel welcome. He accommodated a special request from my father (to fly over a specific beach) and even hovered over a specific area for us to take pictures. His assistant Corey (at the terminal) was also very professional and welcoming.
They price was reasonable and we can't wait to go back. I would highly recommend you try them.Comment from Dan C. of Channel Islands Helicopters 8/13/2010

Last summer my girlfriend and I went out in the 4 seater yellow chopper with Dan. It was amazing! I can't believe how fun it was. I've never been in a helicopter before but being a mechanical engineer those things definitely are interesting and being able to hover, fly sideways and backwards was really interesting. I'd definitely do it again if given the chance. It would be AWESOME if they had the same business in other major cities as well. Perhaps they should tour other places like the SF bay area too! THANKS DAN!

My husband and I took a little vacation down in Santa Barbara and heard about Channel Islands Helicopters. We've never ridden in a helicopter before so thought, "What the heck?" Their booth is located inside another building, which was nice because we got to hang out in comfy seats and watch TV while we waited for our ride. The guy at the booth was very friendly and professional. We were given a little lesson on how to get on the helicopter and using their safety belt and then it was off to the helicopter! The pilot, Dan, was really cool. He took us over the water and beaches and pointed out cool points of interests, like Cher and Sonny's former beach house! The views were AMAZING! Everything looks just a little bit different and a little bit better when you're looking at it from a helicopter. Initially I was nervous since I can easily get motion sickness but the ride was so smooth and felt very slow (even though we were going over 100 mph!) The next time we're down there I think I'll opt for a longer flight so we can swing by Santa Barbara or Santa Monica.
