I will admit I haven't golfed here. Sadly, I am not a man who swings the clubs around. Why can I write a review? My friends got married here and it was simply a wonderful wedding. I missed the golf game the day before with the groomsmen, but I did get to explore the place the day of the wedding.

Aside from the wedding though I saw: Locker rooms, large, comfortable, the bathrooms well stocked with all the shaving creams, after shave, toothpastes and such amenities available to the members. A well stocked pro shop with friendly service for all your possible golfing needs. A men's lounge well stocked with several beers and liquors, a tasty looking menu and Melissa our server/bartender, was on top of her game not only making sure we had everything, but answered our questions about the club. Also, the members that I saw, treated each other like old friends, (perhaps many were), but more than anything, there was an extremely friendly camaraderie among them that was really quite nice.

But enough about that... let's get down to the wedding. Outdoor ceremony on a perfect 68 degree, not a cloud in the sky perfect weather day. The back drop of the club on one side, the perfectly manicured greens on the other and a loving bride and groom and their guests in the middle filled in the rest for a wonderful day. The inside portion, service was amazing, super friendly staff, always on top of what ever anyone needed. Amazingly tasty appetizers, (I preferred the mushrooms and brie in won ton cups and the mini crab cakes). The bartenders were whipping out drinks to the thirsty crowd, (hey, its a wedding, of course there is drinking!) The ball room was set up for a unforgettable night of fun and memories... unless you had a few too many glasses of bubbly... but then again I don't who that would have been.... but most of all, it was a night to celebrate to wonderful people in love, the crowd came to mark this night, this country club did a wonderful job in help creating a smooth and seamless transition from quiet ceremony to a remarkable evening. Nice job CCC!

Over 100 years old and still feels young and fresh while preserving the old clubby feel you look for at a country club.
The Facts:
You need to be invited to join but if that doesn't happen, ask someone you know who is a member to nominate you for membership.  If your money is green, this should work.
It is totally worth the money if you have young children.  My kids grew up here, learned how to swim, golf, play tennis, and be a part of a serious community that feels exactly like a giant Italian family, minus all the screaming and Pavarotti.
The facilities are superb.  I could live in the womens' locker room for at least a week before needing to escape.  Nice dining room + good private dining rooms.  Awesome heated pool, great tennis courts, beautiful golf course, great patios to eat or play cards on, and splendid gardens to walk.
The programs for children are out of this world.  At times you would think this was a club devoted to children.  Too much to list but I gaurantee it's more than most private clubs in the US.
The staff make the bills seem irrelevant.
There is something happening here which is difficult to articulate.  If you've ever been part of a giant family, had a central place to meet which is close to your homes, enjoyed endless casual meals which are sometimes impromptu and sometimes planned where it doesn't really matter who you're with cuz everyone has at least something in common, you kind of understand what this place is about.
Check it out, you may be surprised.
