    This place is so adorable.

They have 3 of the best things on earth: popcorn, ice cream, and coffee.

I'm not able to comment on the popcorn (go figure, it's a freakin' popcorn shop!) because I didn't try any.

But -- their coffee here is SUPERB.

We got a cup and sat outside on their little sidewalk patio while consuming our Jeni's ice cream.

Well-seasoned popcorn - not greasy, not salty - simply flavorful popcorn.

I had original, plain, and kettle corn - sweet and salty.

Excellent ice cream. The set up is kind of like a rubik's cube though. Since 90% of the human population is full of asshat tard muffins, it came at no surprise that about a dozen people tried to enter through the exit and couldn't figure out where to enter the line once inside.

It wasn't as good as I remembered.
Is it better during the holidays?
Or do I just enjoy it more during the holidays?
Either way, we ended up throwing some of it away.

But it is still really good, just not phenomenal.
And if you don't need the tin, it's cheaper to just buy it in the plastic bags.

Always solid ice cream and custards.  Went there this past weekend when visiting family nearby.  Like others have mentioned, the scenery is picturesque and it is a quaint little shop that's done quality business for years.

We ventured into the arena of a cookie this time too, and the kids enjoyed it.

If you're ever in this town that is straight out of Americana, visit the Popcorn Shop, you'll be happy.

This shop has been around for at least a century. The big treat for my dad and his siblings was a Sunday drive here. For some reason, I always heard about it, but we never went. I was in town and need to stop nearby with my nephew. I passed on the popcorn (I'm just old enough to remember the popcorn and it was never that special to me), but did get the frozen custard. It was leaden with salt and lacking the kind of rich vanilla-extract enhanced flavor that makes for a good frozen custard (like Sandy's which is still open near Wildwood Park). The place is certainly popular, although most people seem to be Sunday drivers (it was a Sunday) or Sunday riders (quite a few cycles). I suspect that locals know some place better.

    This is a cool place!

Fresh, made on the premises gourmet popcorn sold in a small shop that is in downtown AND on a cliff overlooking the Chagrin River and Falls. I brought a bag of Kettle Corn, and it tastes great!

Besides popcorn, this place also serves ice cream, and has a Dewey's Coffeehouse within the store. I also brought a vanilla iced latte, which was their special of the day. Tasted great!

The service is friendly, though when the line is long expect to wait. Don't worry, its worth the wait.

Not much in terms of indoor seating but there are several outdoor tables and chairs. Still, the place has a lot of character and a lot of potential. This will stay around for a long time!

A visit to The Popcorn Shop is a must if you find yourself in charming Chagrin Falls. You can almost hear the tune that made you run for the ice cream truck as you're staring at all the nostalgic candy while waiting in line for ice cream - FunDip, Boston Baked Beans, Necco Wafers, Pop Rocks. I was all set to go with something light, a sorbet perhaps ... until the chocolate peanut butter pretzel yumminess caught my eye. It was creamy, rich and the chunks of pretzels perfectly rounded out the flavor (see photo - can't believe I managed to take one before gobbling down the entire thing!). Yeah, I had a bit of a bellyache when I was finished, but no regret.

I'll admit - I resist the urge to linger in the shop, though. As kerensa b. stated, can't believe the shop hasn't tumbled off that hill!

Cute store. Very small. Good ice cream and candy. There is one table overlooking the falls, and maybe one other place to sit. But it's a nice stop on your way to the falls (and maybe contemplating how exactly the popcorn shop hasn't fallen off the hill yet) but it can get super crowded in the summer time.

Also, the creator of Calvin & Hobbes apparently lives in Chagrin Falls, and the popcorn shop was featured in a cartoon where Calvin is a godzilla-ish character stomping the town. So just for that, it's worth a visit.

Still a quaint shop with good product. However, my bag of cheddar had a lot of crumbly little pieces and not many fluffy big pieces. Tutti frutti was out ,so we got confetti flavor instead. Same thing. Shout out to the Starbucks in Chagrin Falls for being my free private water closet. That goes for pretty much any Starbucks.

Not what it used to be, and at $4.75 for a small bag of popcorn, it had better be really, really good.  it isn't.

The Popcorn Shop is a good little ice cream shop in the heart of Chagrin Falls. It is located on a cliff overlooking the falls. On warm weekend afternoons, you can guarantee that this place will be packed. There is a decent selection of ice cream flavors as well as other things such as candy and popcorn (hence the name). I had the dulce de leche ice cream when I visited and thought it was really good, although it was pretty rich. Outside the store there are a few small tables to eat at, but I recommend walking around Chagrin Falls instead. Overall, the Popcorn Shop is a great place to stop in for an afternoon snack in Chagrin Falls.

This is a fun, unique, store, full of delicious merchandise, set it the picturesque downtown area of Chagrin Falls.  I sometimes think of this as the Big Fun of sweets.
