Fabulous, fabulous and fabulous. Wonderful place, great rooms, great pool, great atmosphere and outstanding service. Love this place and looking forward to staying again in September.

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a centrally located gay mens resort without the sleezy aspect (which is great if that what your looking for).

Greg, Charlton and Ray were outstanding. Thanks guys!

PS These guys really know how to make a tasty cocktail. :)

A somewhat unknown gem in the long list of Palm Springs boutique hotels.  This place rates 5 stars in every way.  There really was nothing to complain about.  Accomodations are modern, stylish and clean. A bit overboard on the CB2 decor but it looks good.  The pool area is beautiful with a firepit lit in the evening.  The staff could not have been more accomodating with advice, complimentary happy hour cocktails (6-7pm) and providing everything we needed.  Also included: passes to the art museum, World Gym and the use of bikes.

There are only 9 rooms and no on site bar or restaurant.  Rooms include a fridge stocked with complimentary sodas, coffee maker, safe, ironing board, Ipod docking stereo system and fresh white slippers ( I brought mine home).   The common area has a computer/printer, a huge variety of books, magazines and DVDs to borrow and continental breakfast served from 8-10am.

    Highly recommended.

5 years ago when we moved from the East Coast The Century was our first stop in California.

We've been back 6 or 7 times now and it keeps getting better.  There is finally some new management and the place is changing for the better.

Charlton and his staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Each morning starts with a big French Press of coffee (from Koffi) and a light breakfast.  Each evening there is a cocktail hour and if you're lucky, Charlton will get on the piano and play a few tunes.

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend and are already planning our next trip back.

I wish I could give extra stars for being dog friendly.

I'm so sad right now.  Why do you ask?  Because I had to leave this most awesome hotel behind and go back to reality.  I feel bad calling it a hotel...it's like a Tropical Yet Modern Oasis in the Desert.  TYMOD.

The grounds are well kept and simple and the atmosphere here is intimate and unpretentious.  I came here for my 30th birthday with some friends and we rented out the entire place for 3 days.  It's located in the Warm Sands area of Palm Springs which is just a short drive to downtown.  Catering mostly to gay clientele, this boutique oasis is not at all cruisy or shabby like some other places I've stayed.  The accommodations are clean and the decor is mid-century mod.  Super friendly impeccable service that's just at a higher caliber than most small hotels. They serve an expanded continental breakfast and have free sodas, tea, and water any time you want it.  Wireless internet and club house are a definite plus!  They also have cocktail hour in the evenings so you can mingle or just feed your vacay alcohol cravings.

If you're looking for a boutique gay-friendly hotel in Palm Springs (and believe me, there are a lot), Century is in a totally different league.

Just had a wonderful stay at Century Palm Springs.  As other reviewers have noted, one of the many perks of staying here is the incredibly friendly staff.  Charleton is super awesome.

This place is fun-fabulous-gay but COMPLETELY lacking in pretense.  No attitude here.  I'm a heavy overweight guy and didn't go nekkid during my stay but the other guys (all VERY hot) were encouraging me to do so.  It's not cruisy at all but given that there are only 8 or 9 rooms, you can not help but be friendly with the other guests.  During my stay, almost everyone was there by themselves (except for two couples).  Guys would pair off or go in groups out to dinner or out to the clubs.  As mentioned before, nudity is completely ok here but even when guys were nekkid, there wasn't a cruisy vibe, just everyone hanging out having fun by the pool together.  The mix of guys during your stay may make for a different feel but Century seems to have this reputation: completely friendly, laid back, fun, and relaxing.

The aesthetics are nice--contemporary without looking like a modern art museum.  It's a great location.  Far enough away from the main drag to be quiet and secluded but within an easy walk to the downtown area and many clubs.  Some people may think it's on the pricey side (my room was about $170/night) but I felt like it was about accurate for what I got.  They are dog friendly.  The friend I traveled with brought his 105lb ridgeback and he was made to feel welcomed as well (he quickly discovered that the staff was quicker with dog treats than his dad!).

This is my go-to place in PS.

Superb accommodations. Superb service.  If anything goes wrong (seldom does) it's subtle. The place to stay rather than those naughty other places.
