Going to the dentist nowadays isn't as fun since I'm worried about cavities and results of not always flossing.
Anyhow....this updated review goes specifically to Karen (she is super duper friendly and efficient) at the front desk. She is always willing to help and is very knowledage about billing questions, recommendations, setting up appointments. She's a keeper!!!
Also props to Mea and Chelsea (hygenists) that work on your teeth cleaning, xrays, etc. and are generally who you spend most of your dentist experience with. They too are super cool friendly and efficient. I really like you ladies!!!!1 Previous Review: Show all »

In my 26 years of existence, Dr. Lee is the only dentist I've ever trusted. He is the most gentle dentist you will ever have. Every time I get work done, I SERIOUSLY don't feel a thing! I also love how he constantly guides you to what he will do next. He will say something like, "Now I am going to put some water in your mouth. Now I am going to do some light drilling."
I spent 23 years hating the dentist because they always told me I needed something done and it didn't really feel like they were being honest! Everything always seemed so shady or sketch and I was always hesitant to give them the go ahead. These things are not cheap, you know?
I feel that Dr. Lee is just the opposite! It feels great to hear him say to me, "You don't have any cavities," with each 6 month check up because I never used to hear those words from my previous dentists.
With that being said, I'm confident when I say that Dr. Lee is not out to make faulty bucks off of you. He will give you his honest and PROFESSIONAL suggestions and he does it in the most kind manner.
He does a wonderful job when it comes time to actually do work on your teeth. No weird scrapes or awkward leftovers stuck on your tooth that give your tongue an excuse to fiddle. 100% professional and satisfactory.
It doesn't hurt that all the equipment is sophisticated and up-to-date! Plus, I NEVER find myself waiting in the wait room for more than 2 minutes. What a relief because it is soooo annoying to be waiting around for 45 minutes and wonder what the point of scheduling an "appointment" is.
Give this office a try. You're in good hands with Dr. Lee!! -

Had Dr. Lum, and thought it was a very good office. All around a happy dental experience. I recommended to my fiance, who also ended up going. So... thank you Dr. Lum!
One note: the Yelp ad about free teeth whitening kit didn't really seem to be in effect. I didn't really inquire too much, but it was kinda half mentioned at my first visit, and they tried to offer a discount on full-service whitening in the office. So ultimately, although I found this office through Yelp, I didn't get the kit. All-in-all, I'm fairly ok with this, as I wouldn't have used it anyhow. -

Again.. another screw up by their BRILLIANT reception. Nothing's changed since me and my husband's visit of 2 years ago.
We have a new dentist and his office requested our records from Central Park. Central Park told them that we'll(the patients) have to go in and sign some release forms-- not cool since we live far -- but, they went ahead and gave the info on us that was needed to the new dentist over the phone anyway.
So, what is the point of signing a release form for the records when they just go and tell anyone who calls our health info anyway? I mean, I'm happy my new dentist determined over the phone that they have no records of value that need to be forwarded so i won't have to waste my time going to that office to have them released--- but isn't it contradictory to require a release form to forward records but go ahead and describe those records to others anyway? Strange.
Additionally, Central Park Dental told my new Dentist our visit with them was 1 year ago when it's been 2.5 years. That could be just a small and isolated mistake for another office but not for this one. They must have that same receptionist that never got anything right. Anyway, it added a little confusion with my new dentist's records but we got it straightened out.
And isn't it weird that almost all other yelp reviews besides mine are 5 stars? I've never seen that for a dental office. These guys must have a lot of friends they've asked to help them out on here. --- Like Mary anne's.. they don't charge for missing a dentist appt? Their website said they used nitric oxide so that was the only way my husband was going to get through a procedure there but when I asked for it prior to his procedure the day of the appt, they laughed and said they don't use that because it's outdated and proceeded to charge us $50 for my husband cancelling his appt that day because he couldn't go through with it without the gas or some other kind of sedation due to his condition--- Yeah.. we paid $50 for THEIR bad.1 Previous Review: Show all »

This place is great. I been going here for about a year. Dr. Lee is my main Dentist. He is a great doctor who is very personable.
I had all sorts of cavities and some other issues. But, they were very friendly and helped me through everything.
Dr. Lee did filled a cavity for me, that turned out too close to the nerve to save, so he didn't charge for that one.
Overall, I think they are fair and friendly. More than what I can ask for from a dentist.

I was a patient at Central Park Dental for two years and had a great experience here. The office is quite small and located inside a not-so-nice strip mall, but inside it's very professional and clean. My dentist, Dr. Lum, was very kind and patient, talked me through what he was doing and did a great job of administering numbing medication so I barely felt it. The hygienists were really friendly and thorough as well. However, the best part about coming here was Karen, the receptionist. She did an awesome job of helping schedule my appointments and sort through my semi-complicated insurance issues. (I couldn't afford to do all my work in one year as I maxed my insurance coverage, and she helped do a lot of legwork to get the most from my coverage and do the most important work first.) I was a bit embarrassed talking about it but she was really polite and understanding about it. She also went out of her way to contact my other providers' offices when needed. I always looked forward to seeing her at my appointments and appreciated her kindness, positive attitude, and professionalism.

Just switched to Central Park Dental, based on Yelp reviews and am seeing Dr. Lum. So far its been great! Very friendly helpful staff. Dr Lum had to do some pretty extensive work and made sure that I wasn't in any pain. He's been very thorough and explained everything.
My Partner has started seeing Dr. Lee and feels the same way.
One of the best parts are their hours. this was one of the reasons I had to leave my last dentist. While she is a great dentist, the hours were just not good. I am able to now go in at later times and not miss work.
Highly recommend either Dr. Lum or Dr. Lee -

been a patient of Dr. Lee's for a few years after moving to the south bay. Had a few cavities the first time because of years of neglect. After fixing those and regular checkups with Dr. Lee, no more problems. Highly recommended!

I hate going to the dentist but everyone at Central Park Dental makes every trip to them a good experience.
Their reception/front desk staff is great. Karen and Mia are always quick to call me back when I need them to or when I need to reschedule. I never have to wait when I arrive for my appointments. Dr. Lee and Dr. Jensen are both very patient with me. I'm pretty sure they are glad that my treatment plan is over because now they don't have to see me every other week!
I highly recommend this dental office. They do minimal evasive work and really lets you know what you NEED to have done vs. what you WANT unlike other dentists.
I am very very happy and satisfied with the services that I received. Thanks!!! -

My family and I go to this dental office. The staff is very personable and professional. I highly recommend this dentist for a family with kids. Excellent staff will give your kids extra care. They don't even charge you for forgetting or cancelling your appointments. The dentist is honest, knowledgable, and won't push you to get something done for something you don't really need. We will definitely continue to use them for future check ups.
