This is the yogurt I always get when I roam around Santa Anita Mall. It's good stuff! I like the original and I get strawberries, kiwi, and mango. The other day I got red bean and that was very interesting. I don't like the other flavors. The prices are okay. The staff is very friendly. The best thing is that they have a card where you can get stamps and get one free yogurt after ten. If you're in the craze, it's nice to have incentive.

The interior of Cefiore is very modern and cute. The white classic froyo wall is different and better than all the standard froyo white wall I'd seen before. Love their decor and pretty logo.
I asked to try the Acai flavored because it sounded unique. The berry tastes is pretty strong compared to most froyo places I'd tried. I ended up ordering the original frozen yogurt with longan. The tip of the froyo was piled high, and I didn't really find a big hole in the center. The froyo was too icy and not creamy at all for my taste. The longan is canned, obviously, because it's hard and expensive to find fresh ones.
The pricing was okay, and so is the service.
I like the way the yogurt tastes here.... waaaaay better than pinkberry. But then I went I got completed juked on the toppings, and my yogurt swirly thing was hollow on the inside.... you clever devils you... I've been to the one at the mall and this hasn't happened to me, so i'm hoping its a one time occurrence here.
good:
-somewhat clean
-friendly....in a lazy sort of way
-one time i asked for a sample and i got 2 samples (1 original and 1 acai)...and the kid was really nice about it.
bad:
-its a very small store so its hard to get comfortable (especially when the mall is packed)
-service is whatever...
-this is what bothers me the most.....the employees are highschool kids so they dont take their job too seriously. when the mall isnt busy they are constantly talking with their friends (who dont work at the shop) and their friends take up the seats...the stores small enough already....if your not there to eat yogurt or just rest a bit after shopping...go away. seriously....go talk to your friends when your NOT working. the company doesn't pay you to chill with your friends. and not only do they hang out with their friends on the job when i come in to order the kids who dont work there STARE AT ME as if im interrupting THEIR time. excuse me kids but #1 you dont stare; its just rude. #2 dont you have like hw to do? go home if your not buying anything.

I'm not a big froyo fan. I guess the idea of my yogurt being anything, but sweet is weird.
The froyo craze has not hit me. I tried Swirl in Davis and after tasting how sour they were, I never tried again until my friend made me come here.
Two of my friends are big fans of froyo so they've made it a priority to try all new froyo place. So Ce Fiore it is.
Love the airy look of this place. Modern and ikea like. I got the raspberry pomegranate with no topping. Very tarty- I don't hate it. But I don't love it.
My friend got the original with 3 toppings: capn' crunch, mochi, and strawberries.
Froyo def taste much better with toppings. But after a few tries and no likes.... I think I'm done with froyo.

Those cheap-o's left a hole in my yogurt! When I spend 5 bucks on yogurt, I'd expect it to be filled completely. I feel so jipped... ;p
That aside, the yogurt was yummy.

My favorite Pinkberry-esque frozen yogurt place so far. I had heard about how good Cefiore was, so I've been meaning to try it. Little did I know that they added one right in the Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia! Of course I had to stop by. They advertise it as "Italian frozen yogurt" which usually means it's creamier. Just like Gelato is creamier than regular ice cream. Yuuum!
I had the pomegranate and it was soooo good. Not too tart like Pinkberry, which I don't care too much for. And they had diced watermelon as a topping! So I had their pomegranate with watermelon and fruity pebbles. It was a fruity disco party in my mouth. I think I will get one every time I stop by this mall.
Ok there! My hiatus from writing reviews is overrrrr! Until next time...

Another froyo place. Why did we come here? Because they don't have Yogurtland yet in the SGV. ;-)
I actually really liked the Acai flavor. I sampled the Raspberry Pomegranate and the Original as well. The RP was good. The original was gross...kinda had a filmy feeling to it. I went with Acai because it was something different to me. Paired with Mochi as my topping, it was delightful.
The guys behind the counter seemed stingy with the servings. They weighed each cup and "sprinkled" the toppings. Sheesh! At $14.35 for 4 kid sizes and 3 toppings, you're making plenty of money already...don't be so stingy!
In case you're new to THE Judy's reviews...I am partial to Yogurtland because of the serve yourself factor and the fact that they have over a dozen flavor choices. Even though the Acai and RP flavors here are pretty dang good, I still have to round my 3.5 stars down to 3.
P.S. I love Judy M's nutritional facts in her reviews. So helpful!

What's with frozen yogurt? I had a friend who absolutely hated it. She said you either hate it or love it - there is no grey area.
Well, welcome to the grey area.
I didn't dislike or love Cefiore, but I've never had Pinkberry [shock!]. There are minimal flavor choices to mix together, and I wouldn't add their toppings, actually - they weren't that good. It's a nice place to just grab something and go, since you're in a mall and who hangs around there anyway?
Weirdos do. Weirdos indeed.
Anyway, that's what I did. I was on my way out and saw the pretty sign, ordered my fro-yo mixture, and left. Since I'm a graphic designer, I'm one of those crazy people that goes into somewhere because it looks nice. Or, I'll buy a product because of the packaging.
"Man, did you SEE that font they used?! I just loved the ligatures."
I actually walked out with extras of their napkins because I liked the design enough.
Okay, back to fro-yo.
Wait. There's nothing more to say.
Why such low ratings for this branch of CeFiore? It's so much better than the one on Naomi (after getting jacked every time out of the 3 times I went there - with the "hole" in the middle, that really annoys me). The servers at this branch at the Santa Anita mall are always friendly and very generous with their servings. No holes to be found here! God, those holes drive me crazy. It's the principle, people. PRINCIPLE.
I still like the taste of Pinkberry more. However, at Cefiore you can get two swirls of flavor. This branch offered acai, green tea, original, and pomegranite raspberry. Fruits don't seem to be in season as they didn't look very sweet. I went with a green tea and original with mango and watermelon today.
With 25 calories per ounce (4 oz, 8 oz, and 12 oz respectively for small, medium, and large), you do get 6 grams of sugar per serving, but on the healthy tip, you also get 6% and 4% of your daily recommended allowance of calcium and iron. So if you order a medium that's almost half (48%) of your calcium (Ca) needs and a third (32%) for Iron (Fe). Zero grams of fat and cholesterol, I'd have to say it's definitely a healthier alternative to ice-cream.
None of this includes the additional vitamins you can get from adding berries or melons! HA! So take that all yall fro-yo haters that claim this low-cal dessert is not healthy!
Cefiore is partially sweetened with stevia, a natural plant sweetener. http://en.wikipedia.or.... I'm a little ambivalent about how good that really is for you because there is some controversy over the by-products of it's break down in the liver although a study done by WHO concludes that it isn't harmful.

Tried it out for the first time it tastes similar to pingo, peach house, and other pinkberry knock off places. It was soft and melted fast similar to yogurtland in fullerton.Told the workers it was for 'to go' they said yes rang me up then i'm like uh "its for to go is there a lid". Many of the fruits didnt look like it was ready to eat yet because the color is really light so i figure it would be sour and not sweet. Price is simliar to all the other knockoff places so it was just ok for me. The place was cleaned and cute looking though.

Seems like the trendy frozen yogurt phenomenon is popping up everywhere these days. I was at Santa Anita Mall today and i walked pass this new yogurt place called Cefiore (it's a popular franchise from what I was told). Billed as a healthier alternative to your dessert cravings, Cefiore (formerly IF Yogurt) is not unlike the more popular and uber trendy Pinkberry. Both serve a tart tasting fat-free Italian frozen yogurt instead of sweet frozen yogurt, shaved ice, smoothies with fresh fruit and dessert toppings...
I wasn't sure what to get, so the extremely bubbly employees at this branch suggested some flavors for me to try. Finally I decided to try the raspberry yogurt with mochi and strawberry toppings. I'm not used to the tart flavor, so it wasn't what I expected (i like the sweet stuff)....so for me it was just okay. A bit overpriced if you ask me. I give the clean look of the place and friendly service props tho...
I don't really get the whole hoopla about this frozen yogurt craze, but I guess each year there's something new to rave about.

It tastes exactly like Pinkberry, the best yogurt franchise out there. The original is the best. Green tea is the worst, they replaced it with chocolate for 3 weeks, which tastes even more terrible. The Waffle is orgasmic, but the price for the combo is a turn-off. Nature themed, and is really clean at most times....oh yeah and i work there.
What attracted me here was the modern/contemporary setting. I am into modern and I really walked in just for that. The staff is really friendly and they welcome you as you walk in. They asked me if I would like to sample anything so I told them I would like one of each. Just kidding, all I sampled was the green tea, and that was not my cup of tea. So I opted for the raspberry. So I ordered the large with three toppings, almonds, strawberries and mango. I paid about $8 bucks. Wow. Is it worth it? I ask myself that question everyday. Was it good? Yes. The fruit was fresh and the yogurt was delicious. Will I go back? If someone invites me. Just kidding. I would go back. It is kind of like a starbucks. You pay for the ambiance.
If you go and think you will go back to cefiore. Make sure you get a business card and get it stamped in the back. After 9 purchases, you will get a free small yogurt. Not much, but better than nothing.

Yes, the only fro-yo shop located in Santa Anita Mall.
When I walked in, it was fresh, clean, and modern. The decor isn't anything special but it is definitely cute. The employees here are friendly, and I opted for some samples.
The original flavor I did not particularly like, nor was I crazy about the green tea. I did, however, like the raspberry. Besides the taste of the former two flavors, the only thing I dislike about their yogurt is that it is pretty soft, and it melted quickly, compared to other yogurt places I have tried.
Not much to say besides that. Not to die for, and not a bad experience. Your average little fro-yo shop.
One thing's for sure--CeFiore is here to stay at the mall, at least for awhile.

the new acaiberry flavor is good! ok but i think the quality of pinkberry's fruits r fresher and the flavor of yogurt is richer than ce fiore & it's a lil bit more than pinkberry small is 4.70 pinkberry is 3.95 but this store is better than the 1 in rowland heights thats for sure
Watch out Pinkberry, Kiwiberry, Yoku Yoku, Yogurt land, Cefiore is clean, modern and provides a friendly service. This frozen yogurt shop is a franchise that originated from Todai, the popular sushi and seafood restaurant chain. The yogurt is not as tart as the other places and the flavors are delicate. I especially love the raspberry-pomegranate and green tea combo with mochi, strawaberries and mango. Give all the flavors a try. If you're going to spend $5-$8 for yogurt, you might as well pick the flavor you like. The only drawback about these places is the fact that they swirl the yogurt into the cups leaving the center empty. WHY?!
"YUCK!!!" - pretty much sums it up.
