I love this place. I visit the one in Cedarburg, so I can only speak to this location.
Thoughts...
1. I love the selection of teas and coffee. Plus, you can't beat the smell when you luck up and visit while they are roasting.
2. My daughter is a big fan of the smoothies. I love the blueberry sunrise, and my daughter craves, literally, the grasshopper mint.
3. They have some awesome granola. Try it! And, take a chance on the super energy bar....loaded with good for you stuff...
4. They have a frequent buyer's program. All you have to do is give your last name (I love not having to keep track of another card that has to be stamped, scanned, etc.).
Overall...a great, local, friendly, easy-going coffee spot. -

Cookies. The cookies. I get on a kick with sweets. One month, it's cakes. The next month, it's scones. Cookies, though, they hold a special place in my heart. I am always looking for the best cookies around, and I found them at the Cedarburg Roastery IN Cedarburg. My favorite, by far, is the cranberry cookie. Baked into the cookie is this heavy and wonderful presence of brown sugar. It makes me smile even as I type. It is the magic dust in this confection. All of their cookies are the size of a flying saucer, and it is just another reason I love them. CR has found that fine and perfect balance of crunchy and soft, sweet and salty. Their coffees are a complement to their sugary goods too. I cannot get one without the other. I heart you, Cedarburg Roastery, and your cookies baked with love (even if the owner will not divulge her secret bakers).

I'm a coffee junkie and this place does not disappoint. My husband and I were walking the main drag in Cedarburg, and it was a 80 degrees out in October! We stopped in the Cedarburg Coffee Roastery looking to get a bag of coffee for home and realized it's a little cafe too. I ordered an iced coffee, and the husband got a black tea iced tea. WHOA! The iced coffee was amazing, so flavorful. I asked the lady behind the counter to give me a bag of whatever was in my cup - French Roast - to die for. My husband felt the same way about his tea and we bought a band of that too. They also had about five coffee urns at the front of the store to try different coffee varieties. We fell in love with some Cedarburg Blend too! Wonderful little shop!! And they have online shopping so us Chicagoans can reorder!! Yay!

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I've stopped by a few times with friends and family, most recently for the homemade gelato. There are plenty of great places to get ice cream, frozen custard, and other frozen treats in Cedarburg, but the gelato is one-of-a-kind. Because it's made in house (as far as I know), you can taste the difference in freshness. My espresso flavor was so pure and just a small amount was satisfying. My mom's chocolate gelato was rich and tasted better than your average gelato. To all the gelato shops that try to be fancy and dress up their displays and hype up all their flavors, Cedarburg Roastery keeps it simple with just a few flavors of well-made, high-quality gelato.

The Cedarburg location is such a nice place to sit with the family and play pictionary while we enjoy our warm drinks! The kids who were working behind the counter both times I've been here are so helpful! Thanks for the great service AND for the coconut coffee flavor! I loved the coconut latte! If I lived in Cedarburg I'd be here everyday.

Although we were going there to rank their Americano, which my husband gave a 7.5 out of 10, and I gave an 8, because of my butter rum flavoring, we found they had some really yummy home-made treats! My husband got the granola bar which I thought looked boring, but was packed with flavor! Very cute bar and cafe seating. This town is so adorable, you must enjoy your beverage at the window or outside. Great coffee spot!

You can order a cup at the counter, or you can get an empty paper cup and choose out of 4-5 selections in the pots. Too bad that only one pot had hot coffee and others were not hot at all.... disappointed. Did they forget to close the lids tightly or was the coffee just sitting there for a while? Since this place is such a nice roastery that carries really good beans I was sad about it.
It's cool to be able to watch while they roast beans. I will order a cup at the order counter next time I visit. -

I tried their holiday special... the Christmas Kahlua Cappucino at the Public Market. And I don't normally drink cappucino, but this one turned me into a fan!

Love the coffee here. The location at the Public Market is also good for drinks and sweet treats. The light roast is absolutely delicious, and perfect for when I don't feel like drinking sludge/super strong coffee from a certain national or certain locally cherished coffee place hehehe :}

Visited the Public Market a few days ago and enjoyed everything about it. My husband had a double espresso, which was just a bit watery, and I had a Breve Latte, which was about as hot as the surface of the sun, but delicious!

I really like this coffee shop and roastery. All of their beverages and beans are great. Out of the large selection of independent coffee shops on Main Street, this one is my favorite. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Came here just before last xmas. The ambiance is wonderful and service is great. Awesome cookies, cakes and coffee. A great escape from the cold of winter. Definitely 5 stars for a local business vs the big corporate coffee chains.

This is a really good cafe, and they roast their own coffee right in the middle of the it. They have a really strong following in Cedarburg, and deserve it. As a coffee purist though, I prefer Java House.

Great coffee, and great beans. Their roaster is situated nicely out in the middle of the shop with an old wooden counter surrounding it with seating. Excellent atmosphere!

We order Cedarburg Coffee by mail now that we've moved from Milwaukee, and they care just as much long-distance as they did when we stoked up at the Public Market. Staff seem to be just like their coffee: strong folks, mild brew, smooth!

I drink way too much coffee. Out of all the coffee places in town, the Roastery is my fave. I love the atmosphere. The bakery is outstanding. The coffee and other drinks are great. And the staff is so friendly. Even the teenagers! I know!!
