Best amusement park in the area if not nation! Halloweekend made it even better. We had a short weekend to spend here, and we used every minute of it. We went on all the rides at least twice. I don't know if it was the cold winds that deterred people, but there were hardly any lines. You cannot beat these rides. So many hardcore coasters, not your kiddie rides, although I saw plenty of tikes riding (and even grandmas & grandpas). If you're a bit fragile and don't like headaches, stay away from the wooden coasters. Very bumpy and great at producing neck & back pain.

I was lucky enough to ride with "Single Rider Bob!" He is well known by the locals. Just look for the guy running to every ride, that should be Bob.

Plenty of haunted events, houses, and entertainment. Ghoulish bands, characters roaming about. The haunted houses were pretty good, it scared me a little & that is not easy to do! The best scene came at nightfall, when the long stretch of road connecting the park would turn into a goblin's gauntlet. Pitch black (I felt what it was like to be blind), fog everywhere, groaning sounds, creatures attacking you (no touching, but definately all up in your bubble),then silence, then laser light shows!! A-mazing!!!

Our hotel was equally spectacular. The Breakers hotel was absolutely decked out in Halloween garb. Think "The Shining" hotel but spookier. Turn of the century pictures down the long corridor were erie, and that isn't even decoration, those are permanent fixtures! Descriptions will not do it justice. It's located in the park, not even a 5 minute walk to the entrance. Perfect! I'm not even going to get into the rooms, they're there to rest your head, that's all.

I felt like a kid again!  I LOVE this place! This will have to be an annual event!

I would give this place 5 stars, but here is why I didn't:

They did not monitor the lines at most of the rides, which allowed several people in line to smoke in line, forcing us all to breathe their cancer sticks' smoke.

The staff was not friendly here at all.  I have been to parks where the staff is truly friendly and genuine (Disney World and Holiday World)...this park was not one of them.

Now, the rides were amazing.  Dragster will test your limits, no doubt.  I really like the giant swing set too.

The haunted houses were pretty good and the park was truly creepy when they turn off all the lights at 8pm for Halloweekends.

The food offerings here could have been better.

Overall, a great experience and the way the park is on a penninsula is great and creepy when your coaster looks like it is diving right into Lake Erie.

I headed up to Cedar Point this past weekend with my husband, my brother and his wife, and my cousin and her husband.  Because we're from Pittsburgh, we decided to get the Hell outta there during the G-20 Summit.  Besides, I'm a Federal employee and we were given administrative leave for that Friday.

So we headed up there on Thursday night and spent Friday and Saturday at the park, heading back on Sunday.  Being that I'm a 'Burgh Chick, I have to say that I will always love Kennywood Park and it'll always be #1 in my heart for sentimental reasons.

But being that I'm the  Rollercoaster Queen, I must say that I love Cedar Point.  Besides, I hadn't been there in a few years.  So you can imagine the collective eye-roll I received from the others when I made a beeline for the Magnum XL first thing!  I put my foot down--I have my priorities and the Magnum is still my favorite coaster at Cedar Point.  I didn't want to "build up" to the coasters by riding the smaller rides first.  I didn't care if the others didn't want to ride first and I had to ride alone or partnered up with a stranger.

So my husband Rick said, "Will somebody please ride with her so she can get her own way?"  Cindy agreed and so I got my first ride on the Magnum.  It's good to be (Rollercoaster) Queen!  I did get to go on all of the other coasters too, including the Maverick (my 2nd favorite steel coaster), Millenium Force, Raptor, Gemeni (a racing coaster), and the Corkscrew.  As far as the wooden coasters go, although the Mean Streak is great, I like the Blue Streak the best (I have a penchant for old wooden coasters).

Oh yes, there are other rides too like the Witch's Wheel, the Matterhorn, the Scrambler, the water rides, and the Cedar Point & Lake Erie RR.  I love almost all of 'em.

And yes, you will need two days at this park.  You will want to take advantage of the hotels they have on the property (we did).  We had a great time.

REALLY 4.5 stars, but i just can't give you the 5th star CP!

I feel like going to Cedar Point has been a life long dream of mine.   So when i finally made it here i really expected to be blown out of the water and feel like i was at Disney world.   It wasn't a disneyworld like experience, but it was pretty darn awesome.

There is so much to do and so much to see that it really takes two days to counquer this place.   Especially since the park didn't seem that crowded, but almost every major ride had at least an hour wait.  Still, once you wait that hour, you're totally blown away with the ride.   Maverick, Millenium Force and Magnum were all amazing and most of the others were great as well.  I was a little disappointed in Mantis, Iron Dragon and corkscrew, but i seriously wonder if i hadn't been on the others, if i would have been all that disappointed.   I was pretty impressed with the maintence of the park and restrooms... normally they can be gross, but these were great.  And i was also impressed with teh prices of the food/drink.  While naturally they were inflated and 'overpriced', it definitely wasn't as bad as i have seen at other parks.

Here are my two reasons for not giving five stars

#1: Food selection.   Pretty much you have hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken or pretzels.   Most of these you can also get deep fried.   I ended up at Subway, just to find something not fried!   I was really disappointed in the food selection.   Their "frozen custard" really tasted just like TCBY.

#2:  Bags on rides.   So i'm a girl.  I have things that need to be carried (phone, camera, wallet, snacks, little haf) but girl pants do not have the pocket structure for carrying things.  Therefore i decided to bring a purse.   I thought "worst case scenario if i can't bring it on the first ride, i'll lock it up and leave it all day". Well the first ride we went on had the most genius bag storage system.   The had little bins that were labeled based on what car you were on.  When your car left, they closed it so nobody could steal.  GENIUS!   I was pleased.  But then three rides later i wasn't allowed to even bring my purse in line!   And had to lock it up.  Then a couple rides later, i could bring my purse in line, but i had to ride with it on the coaster.  Get some consistency!   I dont like not knowing what to expect.

All in all, it was a fantastic trip and CP is by far the best amusement park i've ever been to!

I *ADORE* Cedar Point. I don't have many addictions, but I'll admit, adrenaline rushes are one of them- and Cedar Point feeds my need. I usually go in October. The weather is cooler and I enjoy the added bonus of the haunted houses.

Riding Millenium Force in the back seat at 10 at night during Halloweekend with my arms up high made me feel like the luckiest person in the world. I have wanted to go to Cedar Point since I was 14, and even though I was on my own, it was still one of the best experiences in my life! I recommend Millenium Force, Raptor, and Maverick, my 3 personal favorites in the park. I can't wait to come back for years to come, hopefully with friends the next time around.

So I mulled and mulled over what kind of wondering enterprise would receive my 100th Yelp review. Then, I went to Six Flags: Great America  and came up with the fact that my 100th should be for my favorite place in the world: Cedar Point.

I can't say many poor things about Cedar Point. The owner is a kookie old man who reminds me of all the crazy old men from childrens' movies (like that guy from Home Alone 2 who owned the toy store). The roller coasters are top notch, and they have a Famous Dave's RIGHT outside the park in a conveniently-located marina.

When I go there, I pretty much loop around and around on the Magnum. It's a timeless ride that will never get old. Opening and closing weekends are like holidays for me. I've met some great people there, and I honestly can't believe I haven't thought of them previously for a review.

Skip the Mantis. It's not great. Maverick, Magnum, Mean Streak, Millennium Force, Power Tower are all fantastic. Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, Blue Streak, and Demon Drop are all classics. Don't get suckered into buying food in the park. The coaster enthusiasts (and the park veterans) all know that Famous Dave's at the marina has one of the only liquor licenses on the point. They have amazingly low prices and free soft drink refills as well. Many weekends, you will see the park operators (like Dick Kinzle) dining there. If they go there, it must be worth it.

EDIT: If you do get some food in the park, make it cheese on a stick. Trust me. It's awesome.

Growing up in Texas led me to be familiar with Six Flags Over Texas, so when my friends came up with plan to visit Cedar Point over Labor Day I had no idea what they were talking about.  And I am happy to report that after riding rollercoasters there for 12 hours, I am A BELIEVER.

There was not a single coaster that I didnt have a blast on (well, maybe the Blue Streak and Corkscrew - that shit was rough).  Favorites include Max Air, Dragster, Millennium Force, Maverick, Magnum and Raptor.

It's been a couple weeks and my friends and I are all still raving about it.  Hopefully it becomes an annual thing with us because I havent had that much fun in a long time.  The food was decent, prices werent terrible and bathrooms were well managed.  But the main thing is the rollercoasters - and damn there are some hardcore coaster rides there.

Get your fanny pack and good walking shoes - and try not to crap your pants!

Every summer since 2004 (I think), I've went here with family.
You would think it would get boring after a while, but it doesn't.
I love the Dragster and Cheese on a stick.
I can't Wait to go again next year.
They have everything from exciting coasters to Kiddie rides.
The Dragster is a must ride if you decide to go, Believe me, my first summer there I didn't ride it because I was chicken I felt awful that whole year, The next year I rode it and fell in love.

The fear that runs through my body as I pass through the turnstyle to chose my seat on the MIllenium Force doesn't compare to any other.  And when the cars begin their steep inclimb, with nothing on the edge to distract you,  it's hard not to say a little prayer cause there's a chance it might all suddenly be over for you.

But the thrill you get when  you reach the top and smoothly slide down and around, and around...well it pretty unbelieveable!

Cedar Point has something for everybody.  If you're not into rollercoasters they have fun fair rides.  If you have little ones don't worry, they have tons of rides for them too!

Food isn't cheap but you can bring your own snacks, there's lockers to keep things in, but they cost betwen $3-$5 depending on size.

Best rides - Millenium Force and Raptor

Cedar Point is an adult's great playground. Dominated by the amusement park, the peninsula also holds a sizeable water park and a fun park incorporating activities like go-karting.

Currently the joint world record holder (with Magic Mountain in LA) with 17 roller coasters in the park, Cedar Point certainly does build the tension by making you drive down the road onto the peninsula and watching the towering coasters grow bigger and bigger.

One little tip - ignore the main guest parking at the front of the park but head left and round the perimeter road to the parking by the water park. This is usually a lot less crowded and also give quicker access to the rides in the middle of and at the back of the park. This drive also builds up the anticipation for the big rides as it takes you past Millennium Force and Mean Streak.

Being a Cedar Fairs park, the opening is always prompt with rides usually up and running when the park opens. There's a quick blast of the national anthem and then the gates open.

Another tip - if you're heading to one of the big rides in the middle or back of the park, don't rush off. It's a long trek and you need to pace yourself and jog. You'll soon be overtaking the people who sprinted.

For a coaster fanatic like me, big rides abound everywhere. My personal favourite is the front seat of Millennium Force where the drop just never seems to stop geting steeper. Truth be told, there are rides with more airtime and better layouts but that first drop is immense.

Top Thrill Dragster is a launch coaster and you know it's a good ride when there's a grandstand just for spectators to sit and watch the cars  being accelerated from 0 to 120mph in 4 seconds before going vertical over 400feet, going over the top and coming back down. The theming is great with dragster sounds adding to the excitement of the launch.

Mean Streak is a great woodie though some say it's a bit rattly. Come on guys - it's a woodie!

The newest coaster Maverick isn't a record breaker but great fun nonetheless.

The adjacent water park and fun park are also both worth visiting.

A fun-seeker's paradise

Cedar Point is great.  I was expecting crazy lines, but we didn't wait more than 20 minutes for any ride, even the major roller coasters.  Millenium Force was the best.  We were there for Halloweekends.  It was really good.  The regular parts of the park where people would just jump out and scare you were better than the haunted houses you have to wait for.  The lines for those things were longer than the rides though, so that stinks.

I just visited this park from Boston and it is plain awesome.

Obviously the main attraction would be its incredible roller coasters. The Magnum, Raptor, Millenium Force, Maverick, Wicked Twister and Dragster are all thrilling rides.

Don't be afraid to try the Top Thrill Dragster out. Once you're on it you move way to fast to feel fear - it will def give you an adrenaline rush however. Best 30 second ride ever! I do want to try the slightly bigger version at the Six Flags in New Jersey.

You go HIGH on the Millenium Force. Prepare for a massive drop at the beginning. Just as you're admiring the great view of Lake Erie you'll be quickly rushing down the first drop :).

I found the Maverick to be really fun - it doesn't give you any time to catch your breath :). Something about the twists and turns is really well done. I believe they said that the first drop is at a 95 degree angle...

There are other coasters - I really enjoyed the Iron Dragon and Gemini coasters - both were really fun and on the milder sides. The Cork Screw is fun as well.

I wasn't too fond of Mean Streak and Blue Streak - both were rough and rattled a lot (both older wooden coasters). I found the Mantis to be a bit uncomfortable -prob because I'm not used to coasters that have you in a standing position.

Other than the coasters I really liked the MaXair, SkyHawk, and tower drop. I also enjoyed sitting on the Giant Wheel (Ferris Wheel) enjoying the view of Lake Erie.

I would say this is the best park I have been to.

Absolutely the best rollercoaster park in the country. And i say this with only been to six flags brands. A huge fan of the Milienium force (like 300+ drop), and the Dragster (a 420 foot drop). I was NOT a fan of the wooden coaster, as I usually am, this one was horrible and gave us headaches from all the weird and hard jags.

Tickets are expensive, but we found out it's best to stay for 2 days and go to the water park too. The waterpark isnt that awesome but you'll want to take a break and chill at the wave pool.

I love Cedar Point. Anyone who grew up in the Cleveland area that loves amusement parks would.

I recently visited for the first time in 5 years, and of course rode all the great rollercoasters from before as well as a few new ones. It was great as expected.

My one problem was a perception that I wasn't sure I realized when I was younger, or if things have just changed: A large % of the people was white trash!

While I know I'm not thin, I've never had problems riding roller coasters at any of the several theme parks I have visited the past few years, but there were 3 roller coasters at Cedar Point that I know I was unable to ride. The really disappointing part was when I stood in line for over 30 minutes to find out that I would be unable to ride The Mantis, and there was no test seat at the line entrance to discover this. Several of the other rides had these test seats, so I didn't have to waste my time standing in line. I was pretty much unable to ride any roller coaster that had a shoulder harness, which meant no coasters that went upside down.

I've looked forward to going to Cedar Point for several years, and I probably won't be going back. While people who aren't into the rides seem to find other things to do at theme parks, I go for the rides. If I can't enjoy the rides, then what's the point in going?

When you can see the tops of multiple coasters from miles away, you know this is a serious park. Came to the gate at 10AM and walked to the back of the park. Got on Mean Streak after a ridiculous wait of less than 5 minutes. This is the 7th tallest wooden coaster  the world at 161ft and you can ride over and over with no wait at all.

I also was able to get on the Magnum XL200 in less than 15 minutes, which when built in 1989 was the tallest coaster in the world at 205ft.

The newer rides like the Millenium Force at 310ft and the Top Thrill Dragster at 420ft demand a wait of at least 1.5 hours to ride. I didn't want to wait that long and instead enjoyed plenty of other rides like: Gemini, Raptor, Blue Streak, and Snake River Falls.

Price is very reasonable at $45, and you can almost always find a coupon in the paper for $7 off. There are also online tickets for groups of four at only $35/ticket.

Anyone seeking thrills should try this park.

Great roller coasters.  It was always awesome to go to the game arcades.  They always had the old games.  It feels like you're experiencing a piece of Americana here...Not sure if I phrased that correctly, but who cares?  There're some old rides, part of history, kinda, you know?  I cut school to go on a weekday one time...So worth it.  Barely any waits for the rides.  In the summer, on the weekends, expect huge lines.  On the down side, this place attracts tons of frat boys and less than tolerable people, among other weird ass people (not good weird), some of which are itching to start a fight, so if you're seeking diversity, go elsewhere.

By the way... did you know that Cedar Point will allow you to ride roller coasters in a wedding dress?  My husband and I came here directly from our wedding and had our picture taken on the Magnum to celebrate taking the proverbial plunge.  THANK YOU CEDAR POINT for being low key enough to let us ride in our wedding attire!  The picture turned out great!

To any and all roller coaster enthusiasts, this is their Mecca. They have had the biggest and baddest roller coasts for decades now.

Their latest creations:

The top Thrill Dragster (120MPH/ 420 foot drop), which was the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world until 2005 when the Kingda Ka (cough rip off cough) came out, which oddly enough is almost exactly the same design as the dragster. It is about a 30 second ride, that I waited three hours for when it first opened, and I would do it again.

Millennium Force (92MPH/ 300 foot drop) this has the feel of an old school coaster, but at high speeds, lost of little drops, twists and turns through tunnels, and one or two turns where you are inverted being held in the cart by the g-force. While the Dragster is bigger and badder I think this one is actually more fun.

I could go on describing each and every wonderful ride they have, but why ruin the surprise.

Absolutely awesome!  Some of the best coasters that I've been on.  You'll need to wait for rides like Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, or the new Maverick, but they are definitely worth the wait.  Aside from the coasters, a ride that I loved was the SkyHawk.  So cool.  It's like a battering ram ride, but it swings beyond 180 degrees, 125 feet in the air, and up to speeds of 60mph.  Power Tower drop is also great!

Stayed overnight at Breaker's Express, which offered a package deal of discounted tickets, a buffet breakfast for 4 at the nearby Mango Mike's, parking at Cedar Point and a room with two queen beds for only ~$325.  Split between my group of 6, it was super cheap.  With the discounts, the tickets worked out to $16 for the twilight tickets and $35 for the full day pass.  Staying at the resort also allowed one hour early admission to the park (9am instead of 10am).  While only limited rides were open, it was worth it.  Wait times were much less!

I would recommend staying a night or two to fully enjoy the park.  I can't wait to go back!

Over the years, many years, the summertime question for the over 48" crowd in all of  Ohio (sorry Kings Island), western PA (sorry Kennywood), southern Michigan, and eastern Indiana has evolved: Corkscrew, Blue Streak, Gemini, Mean Streak, Millennium, Magnum, Raptor or Top Thrill Dragster?

Does it really matter?  The fun is in doing the evaluation again and again and again and..........

5 stars coming from someone who gets very scaredy cat about getting on roller coasters and yes has to pray alot.  I am that neurotic person that checks the straps like ten times and insists that the teenage workers ensure the safety of the seatbelts. Yes, all that, and I loved Cedar Point!
The Maverick is incredible.  Best roller coaster that I have been on! I've been to Six Flags, Universal, etc and this kicks all of their asses.  It is really fast and that 95 degree inverted drop is fantastic.
The Top Thrill Dragster is also awesome.  That first acceleration will have you gasping for air.  It is a short ride, but damn that was fun.
The Milleniium Force is also a classic, and hey a nice view of the lake.
We seemed to get lucky that day and walked on to almost all of the rides.  If you like roller coasters even a little bit, get to Cedar Point. It will make you a convert!

I haven't been to Cedar Point in, like, 9 years.  Wow, it has GROWN!  It has amazing coasters (Dragster, anyone?) and there were a few coasters like Iron Dragon and Disaster Transport that my 6 year old was tall enough to ride.  The Peanuts themed area for the little ones was really nice, so I felt like everyone had a great time.  People watching at Cedar Point and other amusement parks are always a plus, so I always have a fun checking out the mullets and mesh tank tops.  My only gripe is that this park is really dirty.  Not usual "people not using the garbage can" dirty, but it seemed like every table, bench, and ride had HUGE spiderwebs and nests.  My 6 year old and I had fun counting all the spiderwebs on the fence while standing in line for the Matterhorn.  He thought Charlotte from Charlotte's Web lived at Cedar Point.

Wow! I drove 5 hours to get here and it was worth it. I left at 4am chicago time to make it at 10am ohio time, stayed up 22hrs straight for this place!

I love roller coasters and usually never get scared, its just a lot of fun. But for the first time, i got scared on the Top Thrill Dragster! omgod! It was hard to breathe and it was amazing. I had a terrible headache after but i would do it again in a heartbeat.

I forget the name of the ride but its the huge wooden roller coaster that goes for about 3 minutes. Although there are a lot of drops it was painful! I will never do that again. All the wooden roller coasters at Cedar Point are painful. Steer clear.

The magnum was by far my favorite! I really could just go on about every ride but we would be reading this for days!

The prices were crazy here though. $11 buck of a Subway footlong. What happened to "5...5.....5 dollar....5 dollar footlong" nope doesnt apply here. Thankfully, we found a ALL YOU CAN EAT buffet for $13.95 a person! Best deal. Decent food. YUM!

I will be returning soon, but hopefully for more than 1 day. 11 hours of driving and 11 hours of fun! Worth it! GO GO GO!

But seriously folks, every summer we made the trek from our house in the middle-of-nowhere, to Sandusky to thrill it up at Cedar Point. It's a tradition that we made as a family to always go at least once a year ever since I was a little tyke. Once I got older, I began to go 2 or more times a year. Once in the summer and then again during Halloweekends.

Cedar Point has the most rollercoasters of any other amusement park that I've ever been too...maybe possibly in the whole U.S. I believe they are up to 17 now! 17 rollercoasters! AND they have other rides and attractions. Soo much to do! Nothing could be better than riding in the first cart on the Millenium Force. Top Thrill Dragster is insanity and the Power Tower is one of my all time favs.

Put Cedar Point on the top of your "Things To Do" list!! You can thank me later!

You have to really be into roller coasters to give Cedar Point a 5.  We enjoyed Cedar Point, but there is very little variety in rides.  It is basically roller coaster after roller coaster.

It was a 45 minute wait for the top coasters, so we waited for 1 that long--Maverick. We liked the new Maverick coaster.  The first drop gives a surprize, you go down, but at a 95 degree angle and fast.  Wow!  It does not look like much, but it is a lot of fun.

We went on a standing coaster, one where your feet dangle, a very long choppy wooden one and one where you are in a swinging cart.
We took a water ride which was fun, but got our feet soaked and it wasn't too hot out that they would dry.

One of the last rides of the day was on the Magnum.  There was almost no line because it is an older coaster.  It was fast, tall and a lot of fun.

We arrived at 9:30 just before the park opened at 10am and left at 3pm.  We took the gondola, sky ride back to the entrance.

For the area it is great, but Orlando theme parks offer much more as a destination.  We bought our tickets at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a package.  You save a little this way.

The best roller coaster park in the world.

Who says?
I do.
And Travel Channel and the people who get paid to rate this kinda stuff. (Where do I sign up for that job?)

I love Disney, but this ain't no Disney.

These are real rides. Screamin' steel coasters that go faster, taller, drop more, turn more or loop more than everything else.
Wooden coasters that make you feel like you broke something inside when you get off.

Who needs drugs when you have adrenaline? As an adrenaline junkie, this is my Mecca.

5 Stars for Cedar Point... duh.  This is the greatest amusement park of all time, and I couldn't be more delighted that it's located in Ohio.  Millennium, Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick, Raptor, Mantis, Magnum... these guys can't be beat.

This place is good to go to if you are with a group of friends. I have been there with a family member just to see what Cedar Point is like.

Best amusement park in the world, by far! I have been to Cedar Point over 20 times and never had a bad time! Sure some rides have a long wait - I waited 4 hours for Top Thrill when it first opened! But that shouldn't deter you! They can only fit so many people on a ride at one time and if the ride has that long of a line it is worth the wait! Even older rides like Magnum are fantastic! The ticket prices aren't bad at ALL considering! Millennium Force is the best ride in the park; smooth, long, ride with all the best turns and flips! A must see for everyone!

Best amusement park EVER!  I remember all the times when I was little and we'd make one trip here a year.  We always had to wake up early and drive 4 hours to get there.  Well worth it.  Great rides, and you will have an amazing time!

"No fatties please" should be at the front gate.  The park is, as always, the great coaster park its always been but considering how many hamburgers, elephant ears, and funnel cakes they sell its certainly a mixed message.

The Maverick (yes, I know, a very untimely name during this election season) is my new favorite ride! It had one of the longest waits and it was easy to see why.

During Halloweekends, when the park is open until midnight, they let you get in line for rides UNTIL midnight. That means more popular rides like Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force will be running until 12:30 or 1 am.

I can't help humming the "step by step" theme song while riding the wooden roller coasters here.  Later on I make sure that I sneeze into a giant tub of popcorn and have the kernels spray everywhere.  Isn't it great having Patrick Duffy as your step dad?

If you enjoy speed, heights, snacks and throwing up, just like me you will enjoy Cedar Point.  The roller coasters are killer.  Lots of areas to walk and around and explore.

Cedar Point is awesome. The rides are great and the park is very clean. I would agree with other reviewers that you don't want to carry much with you - most of the rides are so fast you will be distracted if you are trying to hold on to much. I've taken a small backpack or purse and put it at my feet during the ride with a leg through the strap to secure it. That won't work well for water rides or the where your legs hang free. The line for the front of the ride is always a bit longer - but almost always worth the wait (especially for the Raptor). Obviously lines for all rides are shorter during the week.

There are sit-down restaurants in the park, but unless you are trying to avoid a flash rainstorm, don't bother. There is a pretty large section with rides for little kids as well. This is a great way to spend a summer day (and evening).

The BEST Coasters out there!  I grew up going to Cedar Point.  After living in Orlando for a couple years and experiencing the Disney Parks, I realized really what Cedar Point has to offer... COASTERS!!!   There is no other amusement park with better coasters.  Disney, Kings Island etc. may have better 'Themed' Parks but if you are going for the thrill, go to OHIO =)  Be ready for the long lines and to put your hands up in the air!
