I'm mixed about writing this review because I typically like Dr. King and his staff. This last visit I had with him however really makes me think about switching doctors. I honestly don't know how long I waited, but I showed up about 20 minutes early to my appointment.
turns out I have some stomach bug, but due to the pain I felt in my stomach he was suspicious of my appendix, he told me that they would call me back that day with the results. Now I don't really care mind you, it is another test and what not, so I roll down to the ARA to get the CAT of my stomach. that was 2:30, they told me that they would send in the results within 2 hours.
So long about 4:55 I get a little tired of waiting, and more than a little nervous about the results so I cal him up. chick at the reception indicates that that kind of question needs to go to the nursing line, and they leave at 4:30 ... are you kidding me? no, I'll wait while you guys get this straightened out. at about 5:03 I am still on hold (8 minutes now) so I call the line, yep their phones are off. so now I leave a nasty message for them, I'm not happy. 4 minutes later they come on .... Dr. King wants to talk to you about the results fine ..... he is with a patient and will be with you in about 5 minutes .... fine.
results. I have some kind of pockets in my intestines called Diverticulosis .... I'm not sure that sounds fun, but it is no big deal apparently. he is going to hit me with some powerful antibiotics because of whatever stomach bug I have, they will be called in, in a few minutes.
so now it is tomarrow .... 1 o'clock and still no meds at Walgreen's for me. I call them up what the hell? We sent them .... yeah right, we'll send them again, if they don't have them in 1 hour call back .... sure what is one more hour? I guess I'm not dying.... would they jerk me around if I was?
Anyway I am really upset about this last visit. but at least I didn't get a spinal tap. I think this visit was only a 1 star, or if possible a 0 star ... but since I have had good service in the past I am content to leave them with the 2 stars.
I walked out of here this week because they allowed me to wait an hour. How do they get an hour behind at 9am? Complete disrespect for my time. They have also messed up my bill. I am not giving it one star because I do not personally have any complaints about the doctor. I rather liked Dr. Cardwell, but a friend had a misdiagnosis by him and swears he is bad news.
