Dr. Takemoto is very commendable! She is very knowledgeable and gentle with patients on treatments and procedures. The staff is pleasant and courteous, and they treat us professionally, which is why our whole family comes to this office.

We highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking for some peace of mind and calmness when facing dental procedures.

First of all, I certainly concur with the sighted statement below which was provided by another recent patient. Dr. Jasmin Takemoto is cold, money hungry, and unhelpful. She enjoys upselling patients with additional work while providing a very short and snappy reason for the services. If you ask for a detailed explanation she gets very short and rude as if you are wasting her time. The rest of the staff here seems fine if not good, yet I urge Takemoto to take some customer service classes or perhaps look into another career such as used car sales which would better suit her personality. At least have someone else give the diagnoses and explanation to the patients. Get someone who can take the time to work with the patients not the push, force, scare tactics of Takemoto. I really didn't want to write this review yet felt the need to offer advice for both the business and potential patients. One last thing for Takemoto... Any more questions, any more questions??? Just ask yourself would you like to be spoken to as you do to others? Good luck to you.

My third visit to SmileWell Dental was as enjoyable as always. The beautiful and close location is perfect, but the staff are what makes it an even more pleasant dental experience. The front office of Sabrina and Jen were very welcoming and helpful with my appointments and questions. Bhelle was again the perfect dental hygienist and was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Dr. Jasmin Takemoto, DDS, was very knowledgeable and helpful in my exam and my future crown procedures. All in all, SmileWell is the best dental facility I've been to during my 37 years in the South Bay.

Real life super heroes walk among us and one of them is Dr. Jasmin Takemoto. I was not born with the best dentition and my rather sad looking smile has always caused me great embarrassment. I even learned to talk and laugh without showing too many of my teeth. I delayed getting them fixed for a very long time, fearing the expense and discomfort. Perhaps the wait was worth it, though, because I finally found a dental artist in Dr. Takemoto. To date Dr. Takemoto has crowned eight of my teeth, with two more to come in a few weeks. I cannot begin to tell you how transformative this experience has been. When I have conversations, I can now focus on the exchange instead of being worried that my teeth are making a bad impression. I laugh without fear, too!

The front office staff at Smilewell are friendly and polite as well. I also love Dr. Takemoto's assistant, Maria, who created my temporary crowns.

Please, if you are self conscious about your smile and can no longer hide behind the covid-era masks like I did, make an appointment and get that mouth remodeled. You will not regret it!

I've been with Dr.Takemoto for 2 years now and my experience with her is that she is an excellent dentist. The office staff is also very good. Nice location, easy parking.

The best dental care I've ever gotten in my life.

The front desk is great, the hygienists and dentists are very gentle (important!), and take the time to explain things to you well.

Pricing is very good and they've never tried to upsell me or pressure me into expensive work I don't need. In fact, they were able to give me a crown when another place said I needed an implant.

Their appointments also start on time, so be on time and you'll get seen very quickly.

They're usually booked several weeks in advance, but it is well worth waiting.

Smilewell let us down for a recent treatment I had with them. They checked my insurance coverage before the procedure and the procedure was covered. I paid the out of pocket costs before the procedure and got the procedure done. Later, insurance denied the payout on the grounds that the Smilewell did not demonstrate the evidence that the procedure was needed. Inspite of multiple appeals, Smilewell could not demonstrate any evidence of the need for the procedure. Two independent medical practitioners evaluated the appeals and denied them for the same reason. Now I am stuck with a large bill due to discrepancy between Smilewell and Insurance provider. I talked to the front office, billing department and my dentist. I assumed the case was settled after the discussion. However, to my surprise they sent my account to collections without even trying to bring closure directly with me. This is after our family has been going to Smilewell for over five years. We even referred some of our close friends to Smilewell. Huge mistake! We are switching to another provider and letting our referred friends know so they dont have to go through this experience. Be extra careful when dealing with Smilewell, always take second opinion to avoid any insurance denials.

I started coming here after having to find a new dentist due to a change in insurance. I have always had anxiety going to the dentist due to several bad experiences at other clinics in the past, but this place has eased my anxiety. I have been here for several services over the years and the services have been amazing. The front desk staff are always polite and helpful. The office provides an estimate for the cost of your services before you do them which is great. I have been receiving services from Dr. Takemoto and she has been lovely. She is professional, warm, considerate, and clear with what she is doing. She checks in with you to make sure you are doing okay throughout the procedure. I have received cleanings from several different staff, and they have always been gentle and courteous. Appointments are sometimes hard to make due to the busy schedule so make sure you schedule in advance!

I started coming here when it was under Dr.Lontoc. Now I send my children here, my 4 year old and 11 year old. The entire staff here is patient and kind. My youngest child is so comfortable with them and it is amazing. Thank you so much!
