Not to sound like a broken record, but these guys are top notch.
The clinic is no-nonsense with a compassionate staff. At first the "no appointments" thing scared be (I envisioned an hour wait), but we were seen within 10 minutes, just like everyone else.
I especially like that they don't try to sell you on anything other than just what you need and are all about what works for your cat, not for them and their pocketbooks.
We'll be bringing our two boys here for as long as we live in the Bay Area!
My only complaint is that I can't take my dog there too!
Had a great experience all around. Like all the rest of the reviews...Just putting my 2 cents in since I use yelp and know there's something to it if someone took the time to post.
VETS
Nicest guys. Know their stuff. What more do you need?
STAFF
Friendly with a "get 'r done" work ethic. Yay!
PARKING
Have their own lot and plenty of street parking.
OVERALL
Wouldn't want to go anywhere else! :)
Fast, zero hassle, low cost and very professional. Dr. Innes is a great vet and will answer your questions in a straight-forward manner, and is very caring. The exam room is rather low-tech with older equipment, but this does not affect the excellent treatment Tango received.
FYI, no appointments are taken, this is a drop-in clinic. Busiest times are Saturdays, first thing in the AM, noon and late in the afternoon. That said, I showed up right at 8 and only had to wait about 5 mins.
I have never experienced a higher quality veterinarian. No appointment needed, rarely more than 5 minutes wait, and the quality of care and doctor's knowledge is unsurpassed. I cannot say enough about this vet clinic. And the prices are very, very reasonable.

I have two feline friends that allow me to live with them, and today, much to their distaste, I needed to get them checked out. I took them one at a time to the Saturday, drop in (no appointment needed...shocking!!) and only waited about 5 to 10 minutes to be seen. I found that the Vets were very personal and gentle with both of my kids. I would whole heartedly go back. Just to add icing to the cake...IT WAS REASONABLE!
This is a cat and reptile only clinic that we bring one of our three cats to as he gets very stressed out when there are doggies barking at the vets here that our other cats go to. They are very caring and since they specialize in cats they go the extra mile to make sure the little guy feels comfortable and not too stressed as he usually gets some awful thing done to him while here. They really are the most caring of people here. They have once even seen us outside the regular hours for a cat health emergency.
Pretty good/ok/fair experience- just hope my cat gets better soon.
Even if you don't live in Marin, come visit them. They are a drop-in clinic, and it is a very calm, quiet, no-nonsense environment. Docs and techs are soft-spoken and will not try to sell you every drug/treatment/procedure possible. We've tried other places before, and now will not go anywhere else.
We've enjoyed the company of many kitties over our years. Craig and David Innes have been there for us. Helping kitties be healthy (Bones, Spot, & Chatte) or helping us with Larry and his cancer to helping us when it's time to go (Gato). These guys are the best! So are Craig and Dave!! hee hee!
The best cat vets you are likely to find! They are kind, compassionate, and caring towards your cats. Their prices are fair and they will go the distance to heal your pet. I've been going to them for years and now drive from San Rafael to Mill Valley so my cats will continue to have the best care possible. Highly recommend!
I have been going to The Cat Clinic for years. If you live in Marin County, this is the only place you should take your cat. The whole staff cares and takes the time to explain your options and even answer silly cat related questions. My cat of 17 years recently passed away and it was tragic for me. Craig and David saved his life MANY times and he definitely used his nine lives. He had several age and pampered pet related illnesses and they always took fantastic care of him. They really seem to care and know your cat and respect your need for information. If you are looking for the best cat vet in Marin, go no further.
We love the vets and staff here. They are truly wonderful doctors and compassionate people. Besides that, you never need an appointment and your cats don't have to be freaked out by seeing dogs at their vet. I highly recommend them!
