"Great spot to hang out with friends straight and gay. I always feel welcome here and everyone is so friendly. The decor is nice and there…" read more »
One of my favorite bars of all-time. Mark and Marty are two of the best bartenders in the world. The drinks are nice and stiff. The beers always is cold. And the burgers ... spot on. This also is an underrated spot to watch NFL games on Sunday.
Good Sunday Funday bar and the best burger in town! Make sure you get their "special sauce" with your burger. Great beer prices and a spot to hang out at if the lines are massive at the other Sunday Funday locations.
great long island!
shockingly a really good burger too. no fries only chips though. ask for the hot sauce they make there. its a secret recipe. you can buy some to take home.
DIVE BAR and a half. Went here last night after being at a wedding with a group that wasn't ready to slowdown or quit yet. Tried to go to Woody's (Wharf - not the other "one" in Laguna) first but the line was 30 people long (why?????).
Decided to give this place a try. Back in my college days Dennis Rodman used to hang out here but we always seemed to avoid it. Anyways, not bad. You could move around inside, get drinks, the ladies found stools to rest their feet. The dress is extremely Newport casual though (flip flops, shorts, T's, bathing suits - saw it all).
They have two pool tables and a fairly laid back group of patrons so if you don't want to deal with long lines elsewhere, and just want to get some drinks, you could do worse.
BIG BONUS POINTS for being less than a block from Laventinas which meant a pizza for the ride home. Ah drunk food!

I can't put my finger on exactly why I love this bar. There really isn't anything unique about this place: no real gimmicks. Unless of course you consider a bunch of dollar bills taped to the ceiling inscribed with inside jokes and monikers that only the authors would understand and appreciate. The bartenders and pretty cool and lay the drink on pretty heavy. The crowd LOOKS rough (for newport beach), but you soon find out everyone is pretty cool. I have yet to try the food, but the word on the street is it is pretty good.
Great drinking hole.

Classic dive bar: stiff drinks and always a good time to be had. Not the best place for the high maintenance types, but if you want a casual place to put back a few this is a good bet.
great swanky lil' dive bar with big drinks for cheap. oh yea, hot gals too.
