I've lived in the neighborhood 17 years and I must admit that I only came here upon occasion until the Fresh Fish Market located here.
The Fresh Fish Market is AWESOME and it has brought me into this store often enough that I am now coming back for other things. The sausage selection is great and the freezer take out meals are nice too.
I have to put a word in for the homemade potato salad. If you're ever in a pinch and have to take a dish to a BBQ, just swing by there and grab the potato salad. People will have no idea you didn't make it yourself.

I can't say enough great things about Cascioppo Bros! Their hot Italian sausage is just like Grandma used to make from scratch. But there is more to this little gem than just sausage. The chops, steaks, and ground Oregon Country beef is always of the highest quality and so fresh it practically moos! You never have to fear e coli or mad cow if you know your meat and the only way to do that these days is to know your butcher!
Alas, the sandwiches and grill are gone. I hear that these guys served the best ruben in town! But regardless, this place is still an amazing local treasure.
I go here for their sandwiches. They're good, but it's all about the atmosphere for me -- getting a sandwich from a butcher and sitting in Crown Hill on a sunny day.
This is a great place to get meat and sausage. The're also helpful when you need certain meats or bones (e.g. chicken bones for me). Their sandwiches are great! I had a sausage hero and want to try the 'Buddy Ryan Philly'. Any Philly sandwich named after Buddy Ryan has got to be good.....
