Really cool mom & pop pizza joint! Super subs with fresh sliced meats made right before your eyes. And lasagna, pasta salads, and pizza dough all made from scratch. Reasonable prices, and free refills on sodas. And they use Solunto rolls for their subs finished right there in the pizza ovens, Boston style with killer veggies and seasonings. Try the beef gobbler or the big Casanova if you are really ready to chow down! And they accept m/c and visa unlike most of O.B. And a dog friendly outdoor patio one block from dog beach! And fresh slices served all day, we are hooked.

Casanova's Pizza is a hidden jewel in Ocean Beach.  Family owned and operated you instantly feel at home when you walk in.  I met the owner, his wife and their daughter who all chip in to help create what I believe to be one of the best pizzas i have ever had.  If you love New York Style Pizza, Casanova's can't be beat.  The sandwiches were a hit to, I know because my wife is one of the pickiest eaters I know and she ate the Turkey / Provolone Sub without saying a word.  That doesn't happen.  I look forward to eating there again, soon.

2 slices and drink for $5.60 = good deal.  Good late night alternative if you're in the OB area and in the mood for slices.  They also deliver within a certain area of 92107.
