Review from Maria B.
I searched online for the best location at the best rate.. this is it!
As soon as we walked into our room 304, we couldn't believe we got such a nice suite for such a cheap price. We were so happy.. it was the complete opposite of the Oceanfront Continental but the same price!
Pros:
- Location! Walk right across Ocean to the beach.
- Great staff! You guys were sweethearts! Very helpful!
- Lots of free samples in a basket
- A nice kitchen with a full sized refrigerator stocked with drinks of all kinds for a decent price
- They have bottles of wine, tequila, beer, soda, ice tea, energy drinks, water, etc..
- Dishwasher, utensils, dishes
- Every room had a nice decor and was clean
- Pull out sofabed in the livingroom
- They allow up to 10 guests
- Walk-in air conditioned closet
- Iron, blow-dryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap (doesn't sound special but some places don't have this)
- Pool/Beach Towels at your request
- TV and alarm clock/radio
- Roof top pool with a nice view
- 2 Lounges
- Central heating and A/C worked well
- Convenient liquor store across the street
Cons
- The ONE thing that was a major CON is that we were right by the kitchen, which meant a few roaches (we saw 4 during our 2 night stay) and I HATE roaches!! BUT they gave us a discount for it and made up for it in many other ways.
- Crappy slow elevator
- Loud music playing till 4am on Saturday
Overall, It is a great value and the staff made our stay there even better.
I would just recommend that nobody stay in room 304 or anywhere near the kitchen until they get that restaurant to take care of that problem. -

If I was to ever return to Miami for any reason, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! This place was my "home" for a week and I was liking it so much that I barely wanted to return to my real home(s) in L.A. and Seattle.
What other hotel would be able to accommodate 8 different girls, each with different needs and a whole bunch of STUFF for an entire week? And what other hotel do you know of has such a friendly, accommodating and caring staff that is concerned and would stay up to make sure that all 8 of us return home safely at the end of the night (or in this case, early morning)?
The rooms itself were CLEAN. Housekeeping staff was also friendly and very accommodating. They were okay with our ever changing schedule and if we were in need of more towels, they never hesitate to bring us more than enough. The living room is HUGE with a big open window to let the sun in. Flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms (we had a two bedroom suite). Each bedroom had a bathroom right next to it, so there was plenty of space for us to get ready for our days and nights. Each bedroom had a queen sized bed and the living room had a pull out sofa bed. Probably not the most comfortable, but it worked. We fit 2 or 3 on each bed, but when we wanted to get more cuddly, 5 of us would fit on one of the beds at one time. Full sized kitchen saved our lives that week. We cooked and ate there, which saved us a few bucks on meals for the trip.
This hotel is right on the boardwalk and you literally just cross a small one lane street to get to the beach. They provide beach towels for you upon request as you leave the hotel for the beach... just return it once you get back. :)
There's a night club/bar at the hotel so whenever we came back at the end of the night, we made a last stop at the Club Casanova where the staff is super friendly. If some of your party is ready to go to bed, no worries, there is an elevator from the club that brings you straight to your room! (You'll have to have access to this, of course)
This is not one of those bigger hotels with room service or restaurants in the hotel, but I must say, that I like this little boutique hotel a lot more. No strange people to worry about and as I mentioned earlier, the staff is super friendly and genuinely are concerned about your well being.
Key Points?
-HUGE rooms
-GREAT staff
-CLEAN facility
-GORGEOUS view
-AFFORDABLE price (big bang for your buck... I promise)
TIP: I know that on the website it says 6 people maximum or something like that, but if you call them and inquire about the extra person fee per night, its totally worth it.
As I said, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
Thank you, Casanova Suites! Shout out to Fernando, Eric, Carlos, Manuel... they are the best staff we've ever encountered! (You know who... the 8 crazy Asian girls from Seattle and L.A.) -

Great little gem in South Beach. Clean and cute. Very reasonable prices.
We got a 1-bedroom oceanview suite and I was amazed how spacious it was... we were doing cartwheel in the living room and bedroom (after too many bottles of champagne :) Titanium and very new appliances, contemporary and super clean bathrooms. The sheets and bedding was Egyptian cotton and very very comfortable, so sad we only spent 1 hr sleeping on it all night. The view from the large windows in the bedroom was breathtaking, you get to see beautiful people wearing butt-floss on the beach.
The service was ok, some staff members were more friendly than others. Overall good experience. -

Great Hotel and fabulous location!
Some girlfriends were in town, and we got a nice 5th floor one bedroom suite, that came with a fully stocked kitchenette, to chill all your pre-game drinks, and heating up those leftovers when you're nice and relaxing after the long night out...
the decor is fabulous, and miami chic. pull out couch could be more comfortable, it's like one too many sumo wrestlers slept on this bed. but the couch itself was great. the 2 flat screen tvs offered full cable channels for your viewing pleasure. there's a thermostate control in the suite as well, so you can control what temperature you like, hot or cold! AND we were bumping music well into 6am some nights/mornings, with ZERO Noise complaints from the neighbors!!!
and there is a poppin' restaurant/lounge downstairs on the 1st floor, that has great top 40 music bumpin, while there is a mini-club on the ground floor, that plays some niice house beats to chill to. -

This place is awesome!! For the price, the room was clean and spacious. I will definitely go there again!!
The only drawback was the reception/lobby area smelled like FUNK!! -

Great location, nice hotel staff, especially the gentleman that works late at night. The location is amazing, and the hotel is generally clean, I think for staying in south beach this is a great place to stay.

Great location at a great price!
A group of 9 of us went to Miami for my boyfriend's 30th birthday in late January, and I found this place through my friend who runs Easy Euro Trip, kind of an affordable travel agent that finds you great deals.
One couple stayed in their own room, which I never saw so I can't review the regular rooms, but the rest of us squeezed into a 2 bedroom ocean front suite on the....3rd floor I think? It was AMAZING. Great decor, plasma TV, comfy couches, hardwood floors, granite countertops in the kitchenette, a full size fridge with pull out freezer, stocked for our convenience (at a per item fee of course). Place also came with all the basic dishes, utensils, glassware, a dishwasher which we made good use of during our 3 night stay, microwave, and was within walking distance of at least 3 markets. VERY affordable, as the suite, which was the size of a large apartment, averaged to about $450/night including taxes and a rollaway. Extra plus: they gave us late checkout until 5pm on Sunday for $75, which was awesome since our flights weren't until 8:00 that night. My only issue was their tiny empty club that bumped music until dawn, but I think that's just how you roll in Miami. I think technically the capacity for the suite was 5 people though, so you have to be a little sneaky if you wanted to squeeze more in. -

Miami Beach, FL
I stayed there for New Year's and I love this little boutique hotel! The staff was really friendly, the suite I stayed was huge and the price was cheap. Its in ocean drive, close to everything in South Beach. My only complain is the lobby, which is a bit hidden and overly simple. Besides that, the hotel is really nice. They also have a small club next to the lobby where they play nice music and the drinks are not expensive.

As a local resident, my husband and I were looking for a new, cute boutique hotel to stay at when we stay for the weekend. In the future, we will be spending the extra money to stay somewhere more desirable. Service was terrible, and there were several things wrong with the room. $150 additional credit card hold when checking in, which was never detailed in the reservation. I have never heard of a hotel doing this. No iron in room........easy fix, except that we had to go downstairs ourselves to pick one up, as the front desk didn't answer the phone for 10 minutes. 2 towels in a room that sleeps 4. No knob toppers on faucets in bathroom. Sheets were filthy and had blood splatters on one side of sheets-this is terrible. TV had no sound in bathroom, and although we are both tech-savy, could not figure out how or why the sound was not working. Asked for a manager several times throughout the weekend, however, there was never one on duty. Called several times when "he would be back" and he would still never be there. Left a message and call still has not been returned.
I frequently travel across the country and stay in all kinds of hotels, sometimes chic & posh, sometimes not. I have never experienced such a low level of customer service. Completely unacceptable.
The pro's are that the location is excellent and it is super-quiet, which is hard to find in SoBe. Hotel has a ton of potential, but service leaves a lot to be desired. We will not be recommending this hotel to anyone in the future. -

I stayed in room 304 my wife and I had RESTAURANTS ROACHES in room 304. My wife saw one in the kitchen I had one in my shoe the next morning and travel bag. I complain to the desk clerk and brought the DEAD ROACHES I KILLED in a napkin to show desk clerk. Left my phone number has not heard from Managers Carlos or Camilo yet. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Plus when we got home my daughter had two little one in her suit case. NOT GOOD , I'm very MADD ROACHES in suppose to be upscale Miami location. I know Miami has street Roaches the roaches I killed was indoor Restaurant/Kitchen type ROACHES I know there is a restaurant in the same building I would not doubt that where the ROACHES are coming from. Elevator was VERY RAGGITTY UNSAFE doors ready to fall off. ROACH HOTEL
