Go to Casa Milagro for large portioned plates of fabulous, delicious Mexican food; the service is attentive and the margaritas are perfectly made.  I like the fresh ingredients--order the lunch plates--great value.

The Best Tex Mex I have ever eaten!  The brother of the Lune de Noche restaurant and Arnold Nitishin, the co- owner, have succeeded in creating an elegant ambiance and extremely flavorful recipes in this newly expanded restaurant.  The rellenos are not breaded and fried, they are roasted, and are to die for.  I have had them stuffed with shrimp (camarones) and brisket, mushrooms and cheese.  It is hard to decide what to order because everything sounds so good.
The salsa and chips are wonderful.  The Tres Leches and coconut ice cream are a great ending to your meal.  The margaritas are usually great.  I have had a couple of margaritas that seemed to be missing the tequila, though.

The waitstaff is attentive and professional.  This is on the high end on taste and atmosphere, without the price of such upscale Mexican Restaurants like Cantina Laredo.

Tex Mex is my favorite cuisine and I had pretty high hopes considering all the good reviews I've seen of this place yet they still managed to exceed them! I did go for dinner but I assume their dinner menu is just a little bigger than their lunch menu.

The interior of the restaurant is nice but at the same time not pretentious like Mi Cocina. Don't get your hopes up too much since it's located in a strip mall. I value the food and the service more than the interior though, even more so when I go to Tex Mex since that's usually not considering fine dining except maybe in Boston lol.

We tried their nachos called Nachos Locos with beef. It was alright but I wish I had stuck with our server's suggestion of chicken instead of beef. Note to self, always listen to your waiter except when you're  at Taco Bell.

I wanted to sample as much as possible and ordered the Plato Suprema. It was a really good selection of various things like burrito, cheese and  chicken enchiladas, tamale, beef taco plus rice and beans. As other reviewers have mentioned, the tamale was not that great because of the weird sauce they put on top and I couldn't really tell what the tamale tasted because of the sauce.

The burrito was out of this world, I could eat a full plate of that pork burrito!! The other stuff was also really good. The refried beans didn't have that much taste but I think most of us don't go to tex mex restaurants for the awesome refried beans :-)

They use cheddar and Monterrey jack cheese in their enchiladas according to our server which I prefer over processed cheese like some other tex mex restaurants use. None of the food seemed greasy which may be good or not depending on your taste. According to the excellent book by Robb Walsh "Tex Mex Cookbook : A History in Recipes and Photos" that may not be such a good thing but unfortunately I don't know of any restaurants that I'm aware of that uses lard in their tex mex like he suggests they should.

Got a little off track there, the the food was great! I just wish I could have tried more of their food but that's for next visit.

The service was quite good, I have pretty low expectations at tex mex restaurants due to my limited spanish skills (read: I'm as fluent in Spanish as the Texas Rangers are good at baseball). Our waiter could answer all our questions though and also had a good sense of humor.

Well we wanted to like it but my spouse got food poisoning and was throwing up two blocks after we left the restaurant.  In all our dining experiences this has never happened to her before. Casa Milagro, please reinforce to your staff to use the highest standards of cleanliness to avoid this happening to your customers in the future!

My wife and I consider ourselves connoisseurs  of Mexican (aka Tex-Mex) cuisine. Casa Milagro EXCEEDED all our expectations! When we arrived, we were seated promptly. The atmosphere is great..very chic, and the salsa for the chips was top notch! We ordered the Milagro Platter (Brisket Quesadilla, Mini Chimichanga, Nachos, Flautas, Guacamole and Sour Cream, and diced jalapenos), as well as the Brisket Tacos. We split the orders between us and had enough for take home (next day lunch)! The brisket absolutely melted in your mouth!!! We have now found the ONLY Mexican restaurant we will go to when we want TOP NOTCH food at reasonable prices!

Based on the previous 3 reviews, I decided to try Casa Milagro for lunch today.  I give them a solid 4 stars.  Most of the deductions were because of the little omits from the menu, that had I known before ordering, I could have modified my order ever so slightly to bring them up to the 5 stars.

I was seated quickly, had my water with lime & chips & salsa even faster.  Horray for the sugar caddies already on the table and the large squeezable slices of lime, not the slivers that are oh so common.

I ordered the lunch combination platter El Once, which in my limited spanish knowledge... is the # 11. hehe.

I ordered my Taco with no lettuce (allergy) and the shell was completely filled with meat.  The tomatoes & cheese were on the plate next to the taco.

The next plate was a sour cream chicken enchilada, a cheese & onion enchilada and a pork tamale, served with rice & beans

The sour cream enchilada was garnished with three thin slices of jalapeno, which was an issue for the table next to me.  The onions in the cheese enchilada were still slightly crunchy (aka, not fully cooked) but gave great onion flavor.

The #1 issue I had was the tomatillo sauce poured over my tamale.  Good tamales dont need anything on them.  The menu didn't state that the tamale had anything on it, or I would have told them to leave it off, and next time I will.

The refried beans & rice were both good.

I was able to go to Casa Milagro, eat lunch and get back to my office in 40 minutes, which is always a plus.

Will finish review when I get home.

CASA MILAGRO or "House of little Miracles" is what I'm told it's name means. Which it truly is. I have been going to this little hole in the wall joint since it was opened by the brother of the owner  of Luna De Noche which is no surprise to me. The ambiance in this  lil casa is fabuless!  The servers are quick, friendly, and helpful. In fact Casa Milagro has pleased their regulars so well, that recently they had to expand, that's right people "more room". There is also a patio that is really nice; filled with tropical plants and a fountain. Everyone iv'e taken here agree that the pork tacos are to die for....... take a hint and stop on by

Wow - this place rocks! Great salsa and queso. Our table had the chicken fajitas, the enchilada assortment and I had the Chili Relleno Camarones. All three entrees were well received.

Attentive staff and what seemed like a lot of attention to the details.

I need to get back there to try out the outdoor patio and their margaritas!

Enjoy...

This is a top notch tex mex spot.  I thought Luna was one of the best and then they opened this place- both owned by the same family.  The shredded beff tacos are SICK.  Sick meaning WOW good.  This is also one of the more swanky looking eateries I have ever seen.
