I've been coming here since I was a little girl, my family has had many celebrations here. It was one of about 3 restaurants my grandparents frequented. I almost always get the chile rellenos which are hard to make correctly, I've had my fair share of subpar ones. These are not! There are two and they're very cheesy which is a must. They're also a decent size and come with rice and beans. The batter was slightly soft this time, I prefer it a little crispier but overall so tasty! I always have leftovers. Another favorite is the taco salad which is HUGE and very flavorful. It's a decent sized with lots of windows, they also have a quiet little bar area that I've sat in plenty of times. The service is always great as well.

Came here because the place down the road was busy and WOW. I'm never going back there again. When you come in it looks a little small yet inviting. Tables were clean, and so was the floor so, good sign!
Now onto the food, it was cooked perfectly! Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Table salsa had a bit of a kick and I'm not mad at it. Shredded beef was cooked well and juicy. Tamales weren't dry which I'm a huge fan of.
I'm kinda sad I've lived in Tracy for 3 years and have never tried this place out or even heard of it. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some quality Mexican food. Honorable mention: the service was fantastic. I didn't catch our waitresses name but she was incredibly professional and polite. Overall I'd say give this a place a try.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Amanda H.Tracy, CA0297Feb 2, 2024
Good food! Fun margarita options. Good chips and salsa. It's never very busy. They have a carnitas tamale that's super yummy.

Worst meal- ordered two taco's with rice and beans . Chicken in tacos was plain no seasoning, little cheese, little lettuce and cold shells. Meal was very bland, not hot and just plain boring. My enchilada was the same little cheese no seasoning... what a waste of money...

After trying many different places in Tracy for Mexican food and never seeming to find consistently good food at any of the establishments, I finally asked my stylist her opinion. She recommended Casa Grande. From my first visit to this restaurant, I have had top notch food. Exactly what I have been looking for. Everything is fresh with the best ingredients and I haven't had any disappointments here. I've tried their red and green chicken enchiladas, beef enchiladas, pork tamales, carnitas burrito and flan. The enchiladas are some of the best I have ever had, the flan is crazy good, rice so fluffy and beans very tasty. My go to!

Wow, I went to dinner tonight with my family and I can't wait to go back and try more of the dishes on the menu. If you want amazing grilled fish tacos this is your place
They have some pretty amazing specials, so I'm looking forward to coming back for the grilled salmon.
I've known about this place but always forget because it's in the old Tracy Hotel on 11th street and it's not really noticeable. Let me tell you I feel like I've been missing out, that's how much I enjoyed my dinner. The salsa is really good too. Oh and they have a full bar as well
It doesn't stop there....dessert was spot on!

So I will start by saying that the food isn't bad, but if your looking for good authentic Mexican food this is not your place. The server was very nice and attentive. I ordered Queso with chorizo for the chips and they brought out a bowl that looked like microwaved shredded cheese. I myself had the Carne fajitas which were good, but it's also hard to mess that up. My daughters Carne burrito looked pretty good and she said it was "okay", she's had burritos from numerous amounts of Mexican spots. My wife had the Mole dish, from my experience Mole isn't suppose to taste like Korean BBQ or really be served with a chicken breast. I've always know this dish to have a very distinct taste and be served with drum sticks. My son ordered the kids hamburger with fries, I had to send it back because the fries were still cold. When he got his food back the fries with nice and hot but his burger was super dry and hard to eat. He only ended up taking a bit or two of it. Again the food wasn't horrible, but it was not what we were expecting.
