Best, highest quality drinks and food in Athens. All the ingredients are local, including drinks. Custom infused vodkas and my personal favorite- blueberry mojitos- make this place the best stop for an eclectic evening. Highly recommended, good crowd, drinks and live music!

I am not from Athens and I don't go to Ohio University, but when I do visit, Casa is one of the places I usually visit. They have a great stage and a great selection of beer. I don't know what else I could ask for in a bar. The bar itself is "U" shaped so there is a lot of space to sit at the bar. I haven't tried the food there (if they serve food?) but there are plenty of places nearby that serve food until early in the morning, so you can't get too upset.
This is a staple of my visits to Athens. -

The only bar I went to while visiting Athens, Ohio, school where my BF went for undergrad. Spacious bar, "mexican" menu. Dark atmosphere, but neatly decored. Great drink specials, as I had the mixed berry vodka smoothie, and the BF tried the pomegranite mojito. Cheap--both fancy drinks were only $9.
