3 reviews for Casa Blanca Cafe
On our way back from Flagstaff we wanted to get our son a Navajo Taco, we stopped in at the Flying J on the interstate and inquired. They sent us to Casa Blanca Cafe. I have passed through Winslow many times as I own some property to the south of there, and never stopperd here before .
We were completely delighted the food was excellent, the service was very good and the atmosphere was nice.
Casa Blanca is one of the oldest running Restaurants in Winslow to date family owned for 50 years. If your ever on route 66 and want some kicks or if your standing on a corner in Wislow AZ we highly recommend Casa Blanca Cafe!
The best fucking Chimichanga's I've ever had, ever! Holy shit! This place is just down the street from the La Posada, and while the Turquoise Room is to be your fancy dining experience, come here for that nice (somewhat) divey Mexican fare. Totally old school, totally good shit! A good sign for us when we came here was that the place was packed on a Friday night. And those Sopapilla's they give you after dinner, damn!
I kid you not, this place rocked!
YUM!! We seriously enjoyed our meals here, and looks like the locals sure do as well.
The option for stacked enchilada's is a real plus, the red chile has deep flavor without being overly hot.
Next time when we are done standing on the corner in Winslow, AZ it's back to Casa Blanca!!
