This little guest house just south of Ukiah is the perfect spot to settle in or to use as a home base for exploring the area. The staff is really sweet and very knowledgable of food and wine. This is a chillaxin spot, but if you need exercise you can play with the super cute dogs or head down the hill where $12 will buy you a day pass at the health club. I recommend a day of wine and magazines on the patio. But be prepared to laugh a lot. This is not a place for the shy folk or those not used to dirty talk.

I visited the Casa a few weeks ago and had an amazing time. We were all so very inspired by the atmosphere and decided to make a "white trash" dinner (see the write up of the food here - http://www.recipephile...). The hosts are amazing and they have made the place look so chic and fantastic. Be sure to head out on the boat and then reserve a room at Betty Ford for the following week.
