I have not been here in ages. Came down for a drink and was not disappointed. I had an old fashion. It was pretty strong but also well made. I have to say that complementary bread/herbs/oil is so dangone good!!!
The service was fast polite and accurate.
The setting here is always intimately lite. Put me in the right mind state.
I'll come back to try some food another time.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Tiffany H.Columbia, MD22366145Jan 25, 2024
The worst service by the manager, host and car side carry out. Called about my order and the phone rang and rang and rang. Finally, a live person and Erin at the hostess desk was no help, as she continued to transfer me without trying to get someone on the phone to help me. The manager was useless, as he rambled on about not being able to help me before hearing my problem.
Got my overpriced order that had no soup or bread. Sorry excuse for a restaurant.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

If you're looking for a good affordable happy hour spot check out Carrabba's. I stopped in on 23 Feb 2024. The pomegranate martini was dangerously delicious! I also enjoyed the meatball sliders, and calamari. For dinner I had the rigatoni with sausage, and the lentil soup with sausage. Very good outing.

The evening only got better as I had an amazing meal. I started with the sausage and lentil soup, followed by fried calamari, and the main dish, sausage rigatoni. Therebweta couple items on the menu I want to try, so Ill be back. - Dave G.Linthicum Heights, MD01Apr 18, 2024
I had a sudden meeting and needed to organize lunch at short notice, so I contacted Carrabbas. Lety helped me with my order and assured me it would arrive at my office by 12:00 noon. True to her word, she delivered my Penne pasta, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and scrumptious cookies for dessert.
Thanks to Lety and the Carrabbas team, our lunch was delightful, and our meeting was a success!
I highly recommend them for your lunch and your catering needs!

So I've been a devout customer since they opened in Ellicott City. They've changed a bit but there aren't many that can remain a 4 star. Right? Recipes change. Cooks change. Servers come with attitudes. Right? I understand that and still remain a dedicated customer until recently. Why? Sanitation. That's a big one for me. Major. I was in the lady's room and a food handler manager (helping out during a shortage) came in, did her business and just left...simply bypassed sink, soap and water.
After I washed my hands, there she was- gloveless mind you - at the cook's counter handling entrees and salads and appetizers- without a care. Disgusting. Her. Her hands. Her habits. All of it. I was done! Never again!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Carrabba's Italian GrillMar 1, 2019Previous reviewGood restaurants make "flubs" every now and then. The chef has a headache, the salad was uneventful, the marinara was a tad thin...stuff happens. But the difference between the good dining facilities and the great ones is "righting the wrong". Carrabba's in Ellicott City has been my fav since day 1 of their opening. The food is phenomenal and if for some reason it's not...they will make it right. Hence: Good versus Great. Kaitlin Hornberger, manager on duty recently, proved my point. My favorite entree lasagna was a bit over-cooked. Spoke to Ms Hornberger, who said she'd sample it before redelivering, she did and nailed it. It was perfect. She was perfect (attitude is everything) Carrabba's is perfect. Always my number 1 go-to Italian restaurant bar none.

Service was good and quick to the table. Zucchini fries were greasy, the pasta was dry, and the salads limp as if they were sitting out all day. Haven't been in years. Thought I would give it a try again no need to go back.

I have been to Carrabbas a few times and I have never been a fan. I think it's because most of their menu items contain mushrooms and I am allergic. Went hiring the week and it was pretty crowded. I did the call ahead to be added to the waiting list because they do not do reservations. I don't think calling already made any difference because I still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Food was average and service was average as well. There was nothing particularly bad but nothing to work me and keep me coming back.

We went for a weekday lunch on a Thursday at 1 pm, which was not crowded. Our server was very pleasant and checked on us periodically. Lunch entrees are reasonably priced starting at $10.99. Only setback was waiting for our meals that took 20-25 minutes.

Came here for quick lunch pick up that turned into a fiasco. I was trying to use my bonus cards and their system was already down when I arrived so ordered were running behind. I really don't want to relive this so I'll make it quick. The young lady who was taking care of curbside does not understand simple directions. I was asked if I wanted my second dish ordered and I be replied "no" since I was not able to use the bonus card from a prior giftcard purchase. Somehow I was running up for that item and everything else when I started I only wanted one think
I'm irritated I spent 90% of my lunch break in the parking lot waiting for my food that came out a total of three times before I was able to leave with it street being charged for what I did not wantHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1475872558Aug 27, 2023
My decision to eat at carrabba's is regrettable. I pushed down the Pizza Hut vibe that arose when I entered with my friend. We ordered a drink that was delicious but lacking in spirits. The calamari was covered in a batter that visibly had too much black pepper and overtook the taste. The teeny octopus that sacrificed its life for my appetizer deserved better. The bean and sausage soup was not soup but a bowl of beans that I could eat my way through. Finally, the entree, which is a poor man's version of Olive Garden's tour of Italy, fell flat on my palate. The chicken parmigiana tasted like it was frozen and the lasagna was mushy. The fettuccine is not worth mentioning. The only redeeming part of the meal was the bread and seasoned olive oil that started the meal. To add insult to this grievous meal was the inability to process the gift card that I used to pay the bill. After several attempts, manager called in to assist, and 10 minutes, it went through. However, the server brought the gift card back to me before and said it didn't work and I needed another payment. I called the number on the back of card to confirm that there were more than enough funds available.
