Review from Skeezy B.

I shall start this review with a warning: Do not go drinking in Salisbury Beach expecting normalcy. For an example, I refer to the first time I stumbled upon this gem.
It was a glorious Wednesday afternoon in the middle of summer and I had called into work drunk. Some friends and I decided we were in dire need of some white trash goodness, so we headed to the main manufacturing facility for the W.T., Salisbury Beach. After some rousing games of skee ball and a couple rolls of Go-Karts, we needed booze, and lots of it. Hoping from bar to bar, our need for the W.T. felt attended to, but not satisfied. Enter "The Carousel Lounge".
As we wandered down this side street away from the roaring boardwalk, we half expected to be murdered by Carnival folk. But instead were blessed with the sounds of music emanating from the open doors of the Carousel. When we passed through the dirty glass doors of the bar we realized that this eclectic noise we were being treated to was Karaoke being hosted by an Elvis Impersonator. Let me repeat that last treat.
They had Karaoke being hosted by an actual Elvis Impersonator.
Can it get any better? The answer to that rhetorical question is, in fact, a resounding yes. However, the drinks were stiff, the bill was cheap and the patrons were a dish. Mullets, fanny packs, and motorcycle clothing on people who drove to the bar in pick up trucks were plentifully. It was glorious. They had three pool tables, and a stage for live acts that looks like the last band that played on it was probably Sha-Na-Na. They have a patio for your smoking and drinking convenience.
In my return travels to the Carousel Lounge I have yet to see the Elvis Impersonator again, but I keep holding out hope that he'll make another appearance. He is the King after all. And the King reigns supreme at The Carousel Lounge...
