Its a dump and the staff are weird. Its 9.55pm, we want a burger because allll the places to eat in the 'village' are mostly sh*t.

So, we walk through the door, it looks dead. I asked the guy, are you open??
He looks at me blanky? I said, are u open? Not a trick question, he turns to a girl, yes but take it to go because we are closed now.
!!!!!! what? so why is your door open then smart ass??
They are putting chairs away...around us. Awkward. Where are we supose to sit? We stayed put.
We say yeah, fine. Get our burgers 'to go' get in the car and sit in the dark and eat....ITS COLD.

There, enough said. Cold. Man does it taste bad cold, I mean its trash food anyway but at least it tastes good hot. Bad customer service, bad service, bad food.

If you are going to eat fast food, you can't beat a charbroiled burger here. Always some great specials and I love the new Steakhouse Burger with blue cheese. Also homemade malts, Homemade Biscuits. Even fish tacos.

Visited this location awhile ago when we my boo and I came to Big Bear for Fourth of July.  We parked and shopped around the street with all the little shops and of course, naturally were starving after being on the road for 2 hours.  There aren't that many restaurant selections for we only found one other place to eat which was pretty expensive ($15-20/person).

We only wanted a quick grab to eat so we ended up at Carl's Jr.  Place was pretty packed - probably with out-of-town folks, though most resembled "white trash", but not the scary kind.  Considering the amount of people visiting, they should really consider extending the store to accommodate the large groups that visit.

I ordered the Chicken Ciabatta sandwich for the first time and it was the most delicious thing I'd ever tasted from Carl's Jr.  I've continued to order it from other Carl's Jr. and they can't seem to really compare to this location.  Mmmhmm.

1 STAR-close to the slopes at Summit
    1 STAR-cheap, fast food

I'm not a fan of fast food, so it's nothing personal against Carl's Jr., per se...I just don't like to feel like crap after I pay to eat something.  Thus, when my guy friends suggest we grab breakfast here BEFORE we shred it up, I politely decline.  "I'll see you on the slopes or in the lift line," I'll say..."Just look for the bright red coat with racing stripes down the sleeves and my long, blond braids flapping in the breeze behind me."  Honestly, I'd describe myself naked to them if I thought it would get me out of having to eat at Carl's Jr....but that's me.

If you like fast food and you are low on funds, Carl's Jr. is super convenient to the Summit slopes.  You can eat there, or grab it to go, then head up the side street to the parking lot and chow while you are gearing up.  That convenience can be nice, especially for breakfast.

It's also convenient if you want to grab something quick and cheap for your drive down the mountain, as well, but I would really recommend you go just about any place else.

This is the worst Carl's Jr. I have ever been to.  I got a western bacon cheeseburger, and the thing was so old and flattened it had lines on it from the heat apparatus it was sitting on for probably 12 hours.  Horrible.
