Love this place! An absolutely perfect little neighborhood corner store. Lot's of organic options, pure cane sugar soda, select meats and cheeses...a lot of thought and care went into every item this place chooses to carry on it's shelves. The "shopkeep" is always friendly and keeps you abreast of the "goings-on" in the neighborhood.

If you live in Georgetown, you need to frequent this spot.

This place is amazing!  A little grocery store tucked into a residential street in Georgetown, the owner offers a great selection of foods that include lots of options for fresh and local produce, with vegetarian, vegan and even gluten free options!  Many organic items available too!  I go here often for lunch groceries and every time I visit the owner is always incredibly friendly and chats with me.  He is also open to suggestions and requests from customers; quite a few times that I have asked or suggested items, I notice they are available the next time I visit.  This is the way every grocery store should be!  He also has a small selection of beers, wines, and some every day items such as soaps and shampoos, etc.

How cute!  From the prosciutto, to the fresh pasta, to the large selection of local micro-brews, to the absolutely amazing selection of old fashioned and craft sodas (original Dr. Pepper! Sassafras!  Ginger Beer!), to the very friendly guy behind the counter, this place has character.

What it doesn't have is anything normal.  The last time I was in they were out of milk, down to their last carton of eggs, and had only a couple forlorn looking green peppers for fresh vegetables.  This is not the place to do your grocery shopping, but I doubt that's what the owner intends it to be.  What it is is a very unique store with some very cool stuff you won't easily find anywhere else (did I mention the Sassafras?).

Finally - A grocery store in Georgetown! The owners of this place took it from a boozy cigarette grease pit convenient store and turned it into something amazing! Lots of vegan options, local stuff, and healthy foods. Friendly staff, inviting shop, stocked with staple goods, awesome!
