I am still so pleased with the care my three cats have received from Dr. Guth at Caring for Cats. She has met all three of them and I'm convinced they've received the kindest care.
Dr. Guth makes recommendations on specialty veterinarians if I need to seek a second opinion. And she gives you a heads up on tests you may need to run on your cat prior to having them put under anesthesia. I feel so comfortable with the explanations she gives. She will also ask for all of your cat's files even from previous vet visits made elsewhere. That way she has a better understanding of your cat's well being.

I love Caring for Cats and Dr Guth and staff. My 3 cats have received the best care from Dr Guth as she thoroughly examines them. I feel good my senior cats are patients of Dr Guth. Previously, my Cats have gone to two other vet clinics since we relocated to Philadelphia 5 years ago.
They have convenient hours, the clinic is spotless and it is quite obvious all the staff love Cats and their jobs!
I was referred to Caring for Cats when I adopted my first cat, and I feel so fortunate to have been let in one of the best-kept secrets in Philadelphia when it comes to pet care.
Dr. Guth and her staff are the kindest, friendliest people in the world. Her fees are extremely reasonable and it is very clear that she loves her job. We have gone to them for every reason imaginable. She fixed both of our cats, she's groomed them, she's cared for them when they've been sick, and we've boarded them with her. She even has a photo gallery up on her website of kitties whose owners are crazy enough to submit photos (myself included).
I would never even consider going to another vet -- I really feel that strongly about it.
I could not be happier with the services of Caring for Cats. After an unpleasant experience with a veterinarian, we took our cat to CFC to get his nails trimmed. I wish I had gone here first! First off, the place is so nice and clean. It is for cats only so there are no dogs barking, etc. The front desk woman was so pleasant and all of the books were about cats! I'm not really a crazy cat lady type, but I loved it.
The vet asked questions about my cat and actually spent a minute talking to him and petting him before beginning. She treated him so kindly. She was also really patient and understanding when he freaked out and tried to bite her! :) She handled it sooooo well and just called for an assistant. They were able to trim his nails with no problems. It was the best $10 I have spent in a long time.
You can tell she really loves cats. She is our new vet and I recommend them to anyone interested in compassionate cat care.
