This is a really guuud Caribou. The people who work behind the counter are always lovely. Usually there are enough tables you can sit at, if you're looking for that. They're open from pretty early to pretty late.
They have nice outdoor seating in the summer (when there's not construction going on.)
Convenient if you're in the area. :-)
I am not a big coffee drinker (though I enjoy the occasional soy latte) but I love this Caribou. It's a great place to come get work done. Free WIFI and they have extension cords/power strips behind the counter if there aren't any free outlets (which is a fantastic idea and really something that every coffee shop should do...). Also, the barristas are always really friendly. Finally, if you do get regular coffee there (in a "there" cup), I think that refills are free (which my boyfriend always appreciates).
People behind the counter were friendly enough for me to take the effort to write a sentence about it on the Internet.
Plus, my Americano stayed hot for like seven hours after I bought it.
Clearly, the people at Caribou Coffee practice black magic.
The folks that work at this Caribou are always friendly. They're funny, they'll chat you up and they make pretty good drinks. I do find they leave a little bit too much room in my roomy Americano and not enough ice in my iced drinks, but I don't speak up so it isn't entirely their faults.
The food selection is good, parfaits, sandwiches, pastries, but they are hit or miss as far as running out. Sometimes they're wiped by noon, today I went in at 3 pm and they were stocked. Go figure.
I plan to take advantage of their wifi one of these days, it's a nice place to be.
Good place to meet and greet, though they could using a bigger meet and greet room! More seating, please!
Great coffee and tea, as is the case with all Caribou locations. Love the cold-pressed coffee - so mellow compared to traditional iced coffee (cold-pressed is never brewed: coffee is just added to cold water and allowed to steep).
Great employees..especially my buddy Ryan who is always friendly & super welcoming. There is almost never a line and your coffee is done really quick.
This is a great place to meet a client or just sit and chat. I frequent this location a few times a week and I won't go anywhere else in the area for coffee :) (you know the chain I'm talking about...starts with an "S")
This place is awesome, I've been going regularly for about 2 years and I've never had a bad experience.
I really like this Caribou location. It's just around the Corners from Columbia College; when I was going to Columbia, I stopped here for coffee often, very often. I'd always order some really messed up concoction of their drinks and get a laugh from the staff. Over all, it's a nice little place for coffee and tea. A considerable selection of coffee's, teas and deserts. Just round the corner from Columbia College and Roosevelt University.
Pros: Near Columbia College, Selection,
Cons: No Parking
Overall Rating: 4.25 of 5
