The owner Gary Card offers Karate programs for kids and adults, but other martial arts programs are also offered there including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, small-circle Jiu Jitsu and Capoeira.  The academy has two pretty large studios, one is covered with mats and the other has foam-padded floor covered with convas, so if you fall it doesn't hurt, and it's easier on the feet too (not too many blisters).  The place has spacious and clean changing rooms and restrooms, not always a given with martial arts studios.  I don't study karate but I can see that Gary Card is a very nice guy and really good with kids and  teens.   I have been going there for the Capoeira program with Mestre Calango, who is amazingly skilled but also a very creative and caring teacher.  Whether you want to take up a martial art for fun or to get in shape, or considering giving your energetic child something to do after school, I highly recommend this place.
