Great park for parties. There's a large park bench area with tables and two large grills and smaller grills within that same area. The park has a small old little outdoor theatre thing that seems to be used for like day camps when they do skits or talent show type things. I've been to this park several times for other people's picnic occassions and we've celebrated our daughters birthdays here twice. Last year and this year.
The park costs $50 to rent and everything is yours. Whats also nice is that there's a large baseball diamond for those who would be interested in playing softball or baseball. Theres a horse shoe pit as well for those who like playing horseshoes!
A plus is the the parking area is close to the picnic area so its not such a long walk especially if you're lugging a ton of food.
This place is like backyard when I was growing up. Had a family party there, such a great place to have for everything. Theres the playground for kids, a place to play volleyball, baseball, horse shoe. Theres a lot of tables for everyone to sit on. The bbq grills are big, and there are two of them. Theres also a place for you up put all of your bbq things on top of, which is like an island in the kitchen for you. The playground changed so much when I was a kid, i couldn't imagine it.
