6 reviews for Capron Park Zoo
I went to this zoo with some borrowed kids (OK I brought their parents along too).
Although the zoo is small in size, it is perfect sized for little kids. The exhibits and animals were well kept. We even saw the sloth on the move. The lemur exhibit was pretty good, maybe the best in the park. And there were some animals you could feed as long as you had quarters handy to get the pellets out of the machine.
The zoo is part of a larger park area, lots of green space, walking paths, really a nice place to enjoy the day with friends and family
Overall it was a pretty good day for me, I got to act like a kid at the zoo and then all 5 of us (3 adults, 2 kids) went over to Bliss Dairy and ordered 5 clown head Sundaes.
I plan on never growing old.
We loved this park.
Clean
Easy to park
Water play area for the tykes
Happy looking animals in interesting habitat set-ups
Not too overpriced snack bar
Beautiful flower garden to walk through
Plenty of spaces for picnicing

The zoo was a rip off and boring... the lions were definitely the only thing worth seeing, that and the turtle that was mounting and grunting the other turtle while it ate... I might go back to see the new cub, but that would be it...
If you go, get the zip code for Attleboro... the lady at the desk asks for your zip code, and if you give Attleboro's, you get in with a discount... its not expensive, but still not worth $5 entrance.

This is a smaller-sized zoo connected to a park.
The zoo part is somewhat small but has a variety of animals (emus, kangaroos, otters, llamas, leopards, lions, lemurs).
The zoo has a seperate entrance than the park. The park has a modern fun-looking playground for kids, walkways, picnic areas and a beautiful garden.
Admission rates for the zoo differ for ages and for residents of Attleboro and non-residents. Anywhere from $2.75 - $5.00
Educational programs and international wildlife tours are offered as well.
I think it would be a great place to take children - as the playground looks awesome... and the zoo isn't so exhausting.
As an adult, I enjoyed seeing the animals (love zoos!) and just hanging out in a beautiful environment.

Even though it's a smaller zoo, you can get closer to the animals. It's never crowded and it's cheap.
the park is nice and big!! plenty of room to do things there outside like football or frisbe.also great place to sit or go for walk or walk the dog.
