3 stars. But barely.
I went there last night to use my Groupon with Eliza.... pretty disappointed all in all. Agree with the other reviewer about the ickyness of the lack of music in place of a random football game. I get it... its a casual burger bar but come on...
We sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender who is the main reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 2. She was a sweetheart. Very attentive but not annoying. She apologized profusely when Eliza's buffalo chicken sandwich came out a solid 10 minutes before mine by explaining that the chef dropped my original burger during plating. I worked in restaurants for a LONG time. I know things happen and I rarely get mad in situations like this. However, when the burger DOES come back out... the onion rings should be remade so they arent cold (they were cold), the bun should be warm (it wasnt) and the burger should be perfectly cooked (it was dry). The turkey burger actually tasted like it had been a frozen patty.
You're a burger bar... Your burgers should be the thing that saves you. I highly doubt I will ever be back.

What can I say?
This place was a major fail.
I bought a Groupon for this place because it was down the street from where I work. They have no website (fail) and their Facebook page didn't indicate that they aren't open for lunch (fail). So my first trip there became a trip to Tantric (a nearby fave). So, I finally made it there with a friend last night.
So, let me save time and just list the many fails:
1. exceptionally slow service (on a Wednesday night with five other souls in the and two waitresses and one bar tender)
2. no prices on drinks- my friend was shocked to find her raspberry lime rickey (with booze) ran her 10 bucks given the situation (coming up in #3)
3. Ah- mbeeence- non existent. I know it's meant to be an informal place but nothing about their marketing indicates that it will be harshly lit and that they will cut the music in favor of the sporting event which seemed to only interest the bar tender and one other patron- triple fail!! I couldn't wait to pay my bill and leave!

The only saving grace was that the food was edible. Almost enough to warrant a second star had they not failed on so many other fronts.
