I adore this place! Very quaint and the owners are fabulous! Two men after my own heart! Love love loved them!
Some of the room themes are a bit  kitschy, but very clean and comfortable. Our bed in the "snowcap" room (I think that was the name) was soooooo comfy!! We even had a little balcony overlooking the street. Gorgeous when it snows!  
Every morning was a wonderful breakfast spread. Totally homemade! Seriously, these men work their asses off! Every evening there is a wine and appetizer spread. We met two of our now, best friends at one of these. So of course, Capitol Hill holds a special place in our hearts.

I thought the staff was nice when we checked in and I liked the room - nice and big.  The next day, I met the owner who is an over-the-top-super-host.  He wants you to love it there.  Worked for me.

A nice B&B located about 10 min. walk away from the 16th St Mall. Fresh breakfast every morning was a little heavy on syrup, but the pastries were delightful.

We didn't like the country living decor that seems to pervade most B&Bs. But, we did enjoy the feeling like we were staying at someone's house.

We stayed in the Gold Banner room, which has a tub in the corner of the bedroom. Yes, that's right, a tub. From shower to bed in less than 3 feet. You can either think that this is poor architectural planning, or the most rockstaringest thing for a guest room ever.
