OK, many things Dave said are spot-on, but I still don't think Angelica is a bad agent.

Angelica is completely out of her f'ing mind. My fiance and I established this early into our courting with Angelica. However, she does have some really great apartments near Broadway and out of the 5 or so she showed us, 4 were great --- the last we rented.

As Dave was, I was attacked on her couch by her daughter and her 5,000 questions --- with each one her little finger poking me on the shoulder to get my attention (as if I could ignore her 3-4" from my face).

She is a very hectic person who doesn't seem to want to hire the appropriate help to make her business run as smoothly as it could.  Overall though, I found it admirable how much of a hustler she was and in the end --- she got the job done.

I even recommended her to my sister (who probably recommended her to Dave) and I am pretty sure she got her place through her as well.

After dealing with Angelica, I'm actually speechless.  I didn't know people like this even existed.  She transcends all notions I previously held of of "sleazy real estate agents" and manages to reach an entirely new level of crazy that I've never witnessed outside of an institution.

Whether it's her fake ads on craigslist (which are for either old or already-taken apartments), her erratic driving through Astoria (that will leave you looking for a barf-bag) or her perpetual lies and inquisitive questions into your personal life, I guarantee that she will offend you within five minutes of meeting her.

I still don't know which Angelica moment is my favorite.  It's a toss-up between her trying to convince us that "The Nanny" was filmed in one of the filthy apartments we saw, when she told us that my roommate and I were not allowed to be in the same room together (since we aren't married), or when we were subjected to her screaming, autistic daughter on her waiting room couch for thirty minutes while she kept us waiting.

If you value your time, your life, or your money, I recommend that you avoid this woman at all costs.
