I came to Sue in 2017 for hair removal procedures, and moved to the Bahamas. I just returned for another laser session from the Bahamas. I totally trust her experience and quality of service. I am super happy with the hair removal procedures that I had done. Will definitely return when I need another one done !

I am thoroughly impressed by this place! My dermatologist recommended it. Sue is so knowledgeable and wants the client to be as educated as possible. She takes plenty of time to answer questions and help you understand risks, results, and how the lasers work. I was so surprised by the results I got just after the first round. If you are looking for laser hair removal, you won't be disappointed with Capital Laser.

I've been a loyal client at Capital Laser, particularly for their Brazilian laser package, and I couldn't be happier with the service I've received. Sue, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and well-informed about the laser process. She provided a free consultation that really put my mind at ease.

The clinic is impressively clean and well-maintained, which is crucial for such procedures. What truly stands out, besides the professionalism of the staff, is the speed at which they get the job done. This is a big plus, especially for someone like me with a low pain tolerance. Speaking of which, the discomfort is bearable, and it's relatively short-lived, so I can confidently say it's worth it.

If I had to mention a downside, it would be the parking situation. It can be quite annoying as you either have to pay for parking in a garage or deal with the hassle of finding a spot on the street. But, considering the excellent service and results I've experienced at Capital Laser, it's a minor inconvenience. Overall, I highly recommend their Brazilian laser package.

I'm finally free from getting Brazilian waxes--I'm so happy I found Sue and Capital Laser! They are solely dedicated to laser hair removal and have been in the business for over 20 years, and it shows; Sue is knowledgeable and patient in explaining the technology and after care. I have had 3 Brazilian sessions and have had GREAT results. Highly recommend!

You will not regret choosing this business! I'm on my second of 5 sessions in a package and I am so happy with my results! I've had laser hair removal at another very popular place and the hair had almost completely grown back so I decided to give Sue and Capital Laser a try. I am so glad I did! After just two session, I have almost no hair which is impressive because I am a Black woman with darker skin and very thick curly hair. Sue has laser technology that is safe for darker skin and effective! No burns or blisters and I'll be hair free by summer. It's possible I'll need a couple touch ups a year given my hair texture and growth rate but still so much less painful than waxing and all in grown hairs have disappeared. Sue is really knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything to you. She's a character and I love that about her. So grateful to have found Sue!

First time I did laser was with Sue 20 years ago at capital laser and great results. Tried other places when lives outside dc but not the same. Sue is outstanding at what she does, proven through the fact she's been here for 23 years and specializes solely in laser hair removal. I'd highly recommend her to anyone in the DC area. She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process and her attention detail is second to none.

5/5 stars for Anais specifically, however, I my overall rating is affected by an ongoing problem I've experienced the last 2.5 years I've gone to Capital Laser. After doing the consultation with Sue, I booked my first few sessions with her before switching to Liz and now Anais. I switched because during the sessions, Sue pointed out areas that I hadn't opted to laser and constantly said I was a perfect candidate for laser due to my body and genetics, asking me what my ethnicity is, etc. It made me uncomfortable and I've largely avoided it by going to Anais for more than a year now.

Last week, Anais was out of town so I decided to book with Sue and in my head hoped she had calmed down about her rude comments. Unfortunately, I was wrong and as she began, she almost immediately launched into asking me why I purchased a package for half a body part vs. the whole thing, to which I responded it costs a lot of money up front to pay for a package. A few minutes later, she started talking about how she sees the body as soil and my body is fertile soil for growing hair, which she views as weeds. Totally, completely inappropriate. I told her, "Sue, clearly I am already paying for laser so you don't need to sell me on it more." And she finally stopped talking. She also hurt me multiple times(which has never happened before) and when I said it hurt, she dismissed me and said the laser was faster than the one in the other room.

Anais is absolutely stellar in her laser skills and personable, friendly, kind, and sensitive manner. However, Sue's inappropriate and unnecessary comments are highly unprofessional and seriously bring down the overall experience you get at Capital Laser.

I'm currently on my second (of five) Brazilian session with Sue and impressed with my results. During the 30 min consultation, Sue was thorough by outlining the laser process and expected results. She addressed all my questions and ensured I felt comfortable, especially as someone with sensitive skin. I was nervous at first, but she took great care of me and I didn't feel any pain. I've had zero skin irritation and already witnessing great results.
