1 review for Canton Village
I've eyeballed this place a few times while out running errands and finally took the plunge. I ordered General Tso's chicken and some chicken Lo Mein; they were a little pricey, but when considering the size of the portions it's pretty reasonable. I ate about half of each and will definitely have some good leftovers.
The only bad thing about the Lo Mein was that there was mushrooms in it, but they were big enough chunks that I could easily eschew the fungus. I really liked the flavor of the lo mein, all too often lo mein is very bland and this had some nice full-flavoredness to it. The General Tso's chicken wasn't very spicey, but just enough to let you know what was going on. The combo of the two dishes worked really well, in my opinion.
The service was pretty good, too. I was helped at the counter very quickly and told that my order would take 10-15 minutes. When I was told that I thought it was a bit excessive, but barely 5 minutes later I had my food and was on my way to walking the 3 blocks home.
