Just ordinary.

I have eaten here since the sixties, and it  used to be very good. In the last year or two, they have gone downhill, and have become hit or miss, mostly miss.

I still go there if a friend requests, but do not choose it on my own any more.

Better than takeout but below regular chinese restaurant. Ordered the house special noodles. Food came out really fast with ample amount of noodles, beef, chicken, shrimp.  Food for others came out a bit slower. Service could be more courteous but not really expected: we did get the condiments we asked for but didn't know if they actually heard us when we asked for them. Minuses: one pesky fly buzzing around the table; sticky plastic covering on table. If only Sam Woo or some other similar place would setup shop in El Segundo then we'd have more lunch choices for chinese food.

Canton Low is one of those hole in the wall establishments.

I probably would've never stepped foot into this place if it wasn't for my friend Eric L.

I go here each time im near LAX.  

From the outside Canton Low may seem like any other Chinese restaurant.  You know the saying "Never judge a book by its cover.."
well thats pretty much what Canton Low is all about.
but once you pass through their heavy glass swinging door, you will be bombarded by the lovely aroma coming from their kitchen. Closest thing i can relate this to is for example when you pass by an In N Out where the aroma of their food literally just hits you in the face. YUMM right??

Their food is served QUICK and HOT.

I ordered the baked pork chop rice and my friend Eric ordered some Beef Chow Fun. When my order arrived i could see the cheese still bubbling... thats when you know the food is HOT OUT OF THE OVENN!!.  
my first bite was so orgasmic it was nearly indescribable. All i can say  is that the food here is to die for!!! its THAT gooooood!

The only bad thing is that they are closed on Sundays.

There has been times where I would be craving Canton Low after church services.

Canton Low is a good name for it. I agree with Good E, hit and miss food.  I got sick on the wonton soup, but have had a few exceptable meals.  I have a co-worker who insists on going there

Well, this place as been in El Segundo for a long time, the food is hit or miss and the customer service is bad. In three separate occasions the sweet and sour pork has made the customer sick. The last time the wife and I ate there the service was so bad we have not returned and have no plans too. Another case of bad management, never let the staff control your business.
