YUMMY Pom/blueberry. I went to this place thanks to a coupon and it was so worth it. I had a small yogurt with mochi topping and it was very tasty. The atmosphere was very cute and trendy. They also have a cute patio.

I came here because I saw all the great yelp reviews, and once again you yelpers did not disappoint!  This place isn't self serve and have about 6 different flavors that change every so often.  When I came they offered Mango, PomBlueberry, Plain Tart, Pina Colada, Vanilla, and Chocolate.  The girl behind the counter said sometimes they have flavors like Cantaloupe and Peanut Butter too.

I got a "one loop" size of plain tart with 3 toppings of strawberry, sliced almonds, and lychee.  It was so good!  The plain tart was light and fluffy with a consistency reminiscent of Red Mango.  This is also the first place I've seen with lychee, it meshed so well with the plain tart flavor.

The girl behind the counter was extremely friendly and asked if we'd been there before.  After we shook our heads no, she proceeded to explain that everything was made of all natural ingredients and that her favorite combo was the pina colada with banana slices.  Excellent service, excellent yogurt... I'll definitely be back.

Extra plus: Free Wi-Fi!!

This place is great! It's taking a chance with BLISS and PINKBERRY located within minutes of Cantaloop, but I have to admit their ORIGINAL flavor is perfectly tart with a touch of sweetness. And while some places state that they serve the freshest of ingredients, I have to say that Cantaloop is a little more convincing (if not honest) when they say the same. When I visited they ran out of the blue berry flavor and had to run out to go buy some blue berries.

On top of that, while "preserved" strawberries are much darker in color, the fresh strawberries (which I found here) was rich in color and cut fresh.

The atmosphere itself is quite impressive, and as this little shopping center grows in business, Cantaloop is sure to be a delightful break from all the Santa Ana madness.

They have three flavor machines, serve in foam cups similar to Pinkberry, but all else, without comparison, I like the texture of the yogurt here. It's not a soft serve, it's yogurt.

EDIT: So with the summer heat, I found myself making a U-turn just to get my Cantaloop on. I managed to convert one or two people to Cantaloop, and even a VERY hesitant professional triathlete.

While my friend and I sat to eat our loop of yogurt, I heard some young buck refer to decor as "futuristic." I like to refer to it as modern. They clean their machines everyday, busy every weekend, with simple ingredients, hip music, and very inviting. A pleasure to have in Santa Ana.

Wheeee the yogurt places just get closer and closer to my office. This one is just 2 miles away. Love the pom blueberry. Also tried samples of vanilla, mango, original, pina colada, all of which were very good, but I just could not pass up the pom blueberry.

The only reason I visited Cantaloop was because of yelp.  There was a event posted for its grand opening and there was a coupon for a free single loop and topping.  Because I like free stuff, I decided to give it a try.   This place was super crowded when I went.  People were surrounding the counter trying all the free samples.   For my free loop, I got the pina colada  yogurt with pineapple topping.  It was yummy and refreshing.  The guy who rung me up was extremely friendly (I think his name was Spencer, cool guy fyi)  and complimented my choice of fro-yo flavor and topping.

They have free wi-fi which is always a nice little bonus.  This place is close to my house so I will be going back to try some more of the flavors they offer.

Came down from the Bay to my old hometown, OC, for Memorial Day Weekend and heard about this joint.  Unfortunately for me, the yogurt was frickin awesome.  Ended up eating there three times!  (highly recommend the Mango/Pom-Blueberry/Original)

If only this place were about 400 miles closer to San Francisco.....  sighhh

Tart frozen yogurt topped with fresh fruit... the perfect sunny-day lunch! But which of the ubiquitous fruit+cute-named yogurt shops should get your cold cash? Where do you go to pop your fro-yo cherry? (If you want the latter - Cherry on Top, in Orange)

Cantaloop's new and deserted, but that doesn't mean the desserts aren't deelish. I made the mistake of ordering a "double loop" with toppings, and it was HUGE! Easily 1.5 times the size of a medium at the other yogurt places. I topped mine with mango, kiwi and mochi. I love mochi, and Cantaloop's is fresh and chewy. Their tart yogurt is sweet and creamy, not too icy.

I also sampled Pom Bluberry and Mango, but I'm a traditionalist; I very rarely feel more daring than Greeen Tea, and Cantaloop doesn't (currently) have that one.

First, I have to admit that I am very spoiled due to Yogurtland.

First impression..."we don't get to serve ourselves?"  However, the staff was nice and let us sample the flavors.  There Pomegranate-Blueberry was very refreshing.  Good flavors and a lot of toppings (fruit, nuts, candy, cereal, the basics).  They charge by the swirl (1 swirl being a small, 2 a med., & 3 a large). My only gripe is the price. It was a bit expensive for me, but I guess less than Pinkberry's.  The guy was also sort of stingy with the fruit. I mean "c'mon man JUST 5 raspberries??"

3 stars since the guy was really nice and gave us a fat stack of coupons for next time and for the cool furniture.

In the area, stop by for a snack. Not worth the drive if you're coming elsewhere.

UPDATE**- So I was e-mailed my Cantaloop themselves regarding my grievances. I gave an EXTRA star for their efforts in resolving and explaining the issue.

I stumbled in not certain if I had it right! I'd heard someone talking about the place, but the name didn't sound one for yoghurt! I nearly walked into the nail salon next door because that's where the people were! The signage was on the building and not easy to see on the door (I'm still not sure it's there!)
An attendent asked me in and offered me samples. I have been a Pinkberry fan since it began, and still am! I went through the samples of tart vanilla (just to compare with Pinkberry), blueberry/pomegranite, mango, and stopped there. The regular fro vanilla - more creamy than the tart - with blueberries, strawberries, and banana, was excellent, and I ordered that!  It wasn't a fair comparison to Pinkberry, because it was not the icy tart texture with the sweet undercarriage! I took another one, a  blueberry/pomegranite, home. The attendent was most helpful and pleasant. I promised to come back, and did! With a friend! We arrived before the store had even opened that morning, as I was giving a "tour" of Santa Ana, but  we ended up coming back to Cantaloop later, for vanilla, strawberries, and walnut, with caramel syrup, again on a regular fro yo, not the tart! Great! I went again yesterday ... Pinkberry must be wondering what happened to me! I I used to go every day! Now I've got another favorite yoghurt stop! I still prefer the Pinkberry original to all other choices! I don't care, however, for Pinkberry's green tea or coffee flavors! I'm not that big a fan of Bliss, either, which tastes slightly chalky/powdery to me, despite the different flavors! But when it comes to flavors other than Pinkberry original, Cantaloop makes a great case for itself! It 's flavors are on target without the chalky aftertaste of some others! The decor is second only to Pinkberry with a cool, clubby feel - they say they can do special events on site! Pinkberry is study in design, however, and the standard for that, but Cantaloop is great, too! I give it five stars! I'll go again and again when it comes to other flavors that taste most-true., For that  they are number one! The music isn't as good as Pinkberry, either, where lively tracks impress me with every seating!,Cantaloop has fresh sounds, too, though, just not quite as interesting, lively, or adventurous! The lounge atmosphere is not the "modern ice cream shoppe" of Pinkberry, either, but is a comfortable, stylish, and a welcome alternative! Definitely worth more visits!

As you know my hubby is the froyo king so I've been to practically all of the places he's been.  I like froyo, but I think I prefer ice cream.  But since I'm with the froyo king, I get to eat froyo more than ice cream, which is probably better for my waistline.  Anyways, this place has the best flavored yogurts.  I normally only get the plain tart at every place because I hate the artificial flavors most yogurt places use to make fruit flavors.  Yuck!  Like golden spoon.  But this place on the other hand uses real fruit to flavor their yogurts and you can definitely tell.  It tastes fresh and natural.  No perfumey nastiness that all the other places have.  I've had the Pina Colada (yummy), the mango (yummy), and the Banana which I think was my fave.  It was perfect, not too sweet and really creamy, it actually reminded me of ice cream a little bit.  So if flavors are your thing, this is the place to get them.  You can tell they care about their product.
**Update
5 Stars!!
I went back today and tried their new special flavor which was Strawberry  Banana and it was soooooo good!!!  I finished my whole cup and actually wanted more, but stopped myself.  I definitely know that this is my favorite flavor.  I would order a pint to take home if I could, it was so good.

I tend to be skeptical of all the frozen yogurt places popping up everywhere, because few can beat pinkberry in taste. however, i was pleasantly surprised by this Cantaloop yogurt. first, they offer several flavors (i think 6 flavors on any given day) such as pomegranate, mango, blueberry, and banana. the staff was friendly and let me sample each flavor. i still ordered the original/natural yogurt flavor to compare with pinkberry. Cantloop's original flavor was goooooood! it was creamy in texture but still had just the right tartness (i think red mango is too sweet and not refreshing). The store also had a couch, cool furniture, and free wifi (a big plus).

It was bound to happen. With a myriad of froyo shops popping up throughout southern California, it was only a matter of time before the next big name in froyo made its way down to Orange County. Behold, Yelpers, Cantaloop (in all its orange and green glory)!

With nearly 100 reviews for the Hollywood location (as of this writing), Cantaloop is 'up there' with the likes of Pinkberry, Red Mango, Cefiore, and (dare I say?) Yogurtland. In keeping with the tradition of the majority of froyo shops, Cantaloop provides its customers with a tastefully decorated and comfortable seating area, good service, and (above all) a better-than-average product. The froyo here is fairly smooth, creamy, not too icy, and had a well-balanced tartness (at least in the 'original tart' flavor). I noticed six different flavors on my maiden voyage to Cantaloop. Unfortunately, I can only recall the following: Pom Blueberry, Pina Colada, Mango, Peanut Butter, and Natural (plain/tart). Of the flavors I sampled, all had good flavors and textures. You also get your wide variety of toppings (yes, they DO have cantaloupe as one of them) and sizes. Pricing is pretty much like that of its competitors, which is what I'd expected. Overall, it looks like Cantaloop is off to a good start here in Santa Ana.

Located on 17th Street (between Tustin and Grand) in a very new shopping center, Cantaloop can be found next to a nail salon and Dorazio Learning Center. It's really easy to miss, so just look for Knowlwood Burgers and OSH and you're in the right spot.

Update: I sampled their banana, mango, and cantaloupe flavors last night. Impressive. All their froyo is made with fresh fruit and live yogurt cultures (according to one of the owners, Howard). This place is quickly moving up my froyo list...

Update 2: Just tasted their strawberry-banana and pom-blueberry yesterday. Wow! Cantaloop keeps on surprising me with their flavors. Simply delicious!

Awesome experience!  First of all, the customer service was great!  Lots of smiley faces, and they had no problems giving me samples of all the different flavors!   pina colada, pomegranate-blueberry, vanilla, original tart to name a few...   And I couldn't believe the toppings selection -- pretty impressive variety. :)  The yogurt was really refreshing!  Seemed freshly made and not at all artificial tasting..  I think they use fresh fruit/juice when they make it!  Huge plus~    With this whole yogurt crazin' going on, it may seem hard to choose which is best, but I really do think Cantaloop is top notch.  Very reasonable price for the amount/quality of yogurt they give you!  Check it out!

I love frozen yogurt.  But it's hard to find one that completely satisfies my palette.  Some are too tart, some too sweet, and some are just bad.  Cantaloop, on the other hand has one of the best mixture of tartness and sweetness.  It's delicious and refreshing.  I've already been to this OC location several times since they have opened and have been impressed by their yogurt everytime.  One of the things that I love about this store is that they have a wide variety of flavors, all of which are very good.  I think I've had and sampled about  8 different flavors.  They offer tons of different toppings as well and all the ones that I've had have been fresh and delicious.  Another plus, they definitely do not skimp on portions.  My yogurt cups have always been full of yogurt (no holes in the middle) and loaded with toppings!

Aside from yogurt, the store look great, plays good music, offers wi-fi, and has very friendly employees.

I tried every flavor of yogurt there and each flavor was delicious but I liked the original tart flavor the best...I especially liked the mochii here.  Most places the mochii is stuck together and looks old, at Cantaloop, the mochii was the best I've ever had.  I also liked the ambiance of the store and the free WiFi is always a big plus to me.  I will be sure to continue frequenting this store.
