I have left my small french bulldog there when I am away and know that she is in good hands.  The owner Victor is a great guy who really loves animals.  The property is large so the dogs have so much running room, its great.  I had no problem leaving Maya, she had a big run so she wasn't couped up in a crate like other places.

Hm. What kind of business is this? I called to inquire about rates for boarding and was asked when I would need to reserve. I told the owner that it would be for a drop off on Sunday and picking up the following Saturday. He stated that the business is not open to the public on weekends so I would have to drop off the Friday before and pick them up the following Monday. First of all, I work during the week so you expect your clients to take extra time off just to pick up their pets because you're not open on the weekends? And if that's the case, now I have to pay for 4 extra days of boarding because you have weird business hours? Not very business savvy if you ask me. Sure it's your business, run it however you want. But I would think you would lose a ton of business since a lot of people travel on weekends. I certainly wouldn't want my kids staying an extra 4 days because of your odd hours and not to mention having to pay for that privilege. Just odd. It left me speechless.

Shortly after adopting our little basset hound we had to head out of town. We were worried about leaving him behind so soon, but felt much better about it after finding Canine Lodge and talking with Vic. I can't really testify to the playground itself as we dropped him off and picked him up from a groomers in Hillcrest (very convenient if you don't want to drive to Blossom Valley), but all I know is our dog came back in one piece, happy, and fully bathed (free of charge). For a place that lets your dog run around all day and have a decent sized kennel with good bed at night, you won't get a better place for the money. We'll definitely use them again.
